Thank you so much for NOT showing 25 minutes of useless action to make your points. This is how all "how-to" videos should be done. Short and to the point. Bravo!

Chain hoist is awesome. Now with the wavy cuts. The blade needs to be rolled or flattened. Put a razor blade across the blade between the gullets. See if you have a hump or you can see a dish in the middle. You want a slight dish. To much dish will make it rise. A hump in the middle will make it dive. The first 12" of cut will tell you which one. If it dives you have to flatten the side towards the slab. Vice versa if it rises.

Thank you for the information. Where did you get your log arches? I had not considered using an I-beam and chain hoist but I definitely like that idea. I like you mix of water, bar oil/diesel, and dish liquid. I appreciate the you took the time to make this video. I am still assembling my HM130max mill.

WOW, this has my mind spinning. I just ordered my HM130Max and it will not be here until the end of September. Sooo, that leaves me plenty of time to build a set up like yours for loading logs onto the mill..... that is if you don't mind that I copy your genius ideas?? New sub here, and looking forward to see more of your videos. Your land is beautiful. Take. care, David

Nice way to carry logs... keeps them out of dirt which i would think makes your blades stay sharper longer. About the oil mix, would that stain the wood in any way if you were using for interior. Thanks

I have not had an issue with staining, most of my material gets used for homestead type projects and are also soft woods. I have milled a fair amount of cedar for facia and exterior trim and have not had any issues.

It is a 5 inch x 20 foot and could be bigger, this is not enough for green wood or large logs without supporting it in the middle with a kicker
