About Saw IV:
Saw IV is a 2007 horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman from a screenplay by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, and a story by Melton, Dunstan, and Thomas Fenton. It is the fourth installment in the Saw film series and a sequel to 2006's Saw III. The film stars Tobin Bell, Scott Patterson, Costas Mandylor, Betsy Russell, and Lyriq Bent.
The film picks up where previous film left off, with the death of John Kramer. However, it is revealed that John had planned for his death and left behind a series of recordings and clues that would lead investigators to his final game. As the detectives try to unravel the mystery of John's final game, they are drawn into a web of deceit and deception that reveals more of the motives behind his lethal games.
Saw IV was the first film in the franchise to not be written by Leigh Whannell or James Wan. It was released by Lionsgate Films in the United States on October 26, 2007, and received generally negative reviews from critics. Despite this, the film was a box office success, grossing $139 million worldwide. A sequel, titled Saw V, was released in 2008.
About the Saw Franchise:
Saw is an American horror media franchise created by Australian filmmakers James Wan and Leigh Whannell, consisting of ten feature films and additional media. Nine of the films primarily revolve around the fictional serial killer John "Jigsaw" Kramer, while the ninth film revolves around a copycat killer. John Kramer was introduced briefly in Saw and developed in more detail in Saw II and the subsequent films. Rather than killing his victims outright, he traps them in life-threatening situations that he calls "tests" or "games" to test their will to survive through physical or psychological torture, believing that if they survive, they will be "rehabilitated." Kramer was killed off in Saw III, but the films continued to focus on his posthumous influence, particularly by his apprentices, and explore his character via flashbacks.

Man I agree with many things you said here , saw 4 ( even tho I really enjoy it ) feels messy but maybe it’s because it’s not an independent film ? It feels like the extended version of Saw 3 . I absolutely love the hair trap , it’s one of my faves actually and she deserves it too cause she was selling underage girls 🫠🤔 I also love that we got to see the first ever jigsaw trap and the reason behind is so devastating, can’t wait to see you defending saw 3D cause you know I will defend it too lol

I feel like Saw 4 feels independent enough. Especially with Rigg’s trial. It’s only by the end that it gets messy and even confusing. It took me a long time to even understand that they were trying to tell me Saw 4 and 3 take place at the same time hahaha! Man, Saw 3D I’m gonna stand up for af! Thank you for watching!
