Saving THOUSANDS OF TADPOLES From ABANDONED DRIED UP POND! (SAD)
In this video I save thousands of TADPOLES from an abandoned dried up pond. These tadpoles were going to die if I did not rescue them. This pond used to be huge but unfortunately with the drought it has become just a few small puddles filled with millions of future frogs! I'm not sure what kind of frog this is because they are so young but I will ensure to release them into separate bodies of water without disrupting the ecosystem. These tadpoles would've dried up and/or been eating by local predators and I'm glad I got there in time! Thank you for watching and stay tuned for updates and more rescues!

Dollar General has pretty big dog pools for like $20 that might be a good cheap container you could keep them in!

Love this!! Thank you for doing this 👍🏼
Great job.
Thanks for saving them😁😁😁😁
I hope the tadpoles make it. Are you getting the shrimp too? Good luck. 👍🐸
I'm so happy there's not a million comments! What do you feed them after you catch them? Goldfish food? I have a near by marshy area that I thought I might try and catch some tadpoles but I don't want them to die in my care. The marshy area eventually with dry up
You're back!!!
The tadpoles might be bullfrogs
I would suggest you could put some water IN the pond so the tadpoles you couldn't get would at least survive longer.
Your amazing! Stay safe!

Tbh, i would get a tub full of water and use my hands to scoop them, along with some of the mud they are on, and or use a shovel to scoop them up from under them. I learned you need atlest some remenance of the environment they were born in. I have learn that the hard way by seeing a tadpole looking like it was bloating from the well water, but when adding the water from the creek it was from, it was back to normal.
Legless frog could be a name for a tadpole
Hi. I am a big fan of you. I am 14 years old. I have seen every video of you
Wow
Hey man I haven’t been on this account for a while but I’m a big fan
Wow i love how peopel are saveing animals alot of peopel treat small animals like toys thats just not right
Its sad to say but you shouldn't try to save all of them, just save a good bunch
If you give them to a special rescue shelter or to a new pond I hope you do a video update on them
That's awesome you've rescued as many tadpoles as you have! You have a good heart & it must have been sooo distressing to have to leave some of them behind. Just remember, even if you can't get them all, you have saved a ton of them, which is more than most people would have done!
😢😊😊😊😊😊 yes
Mother natures prodigy 🐸
poor baby frogs :(
I did that just today I mean I couldn't leave those tadpoles to die they were so innocent
...👍👍
Those are Cricket Frog Tadpoles. I had a couple hundred of them myself, however they do take awhile to grow legs and turn into frogs unlike bullfrog tadpoles. I'm not too sure if they are the Northern, southern, or Eastern species but they are definitely cricket frog tadpoles. when they turn into frogs they will be about the size of a full grown cricket,, no bigger.
Frogs and toads survive droughts by burrowing into soil.

Did you watch the video? There were already so many dead because the soil/mudd was all dried up. With how hot it was, that pond would dry up completely before the next rain and you can't expect one rain to just make do
@michellemichelle5158
3 жыл бұрын
@@isabellajohansson8405 of course I watched it. Have you ever watched National Geographic documentary? Google hasn't scrubbed the information pertaining to this subject yet. Do some easy google research. "Nature doesn't support failure" there is a reason there were millions of them. It is an optimal breeding area. Some will die but nature selects the strongest to survive through droughts. Nature is awesome like that. 👍
