Hello and welcome to the channel! My name is Kayla (she/her) and I am 22 years old. Now that is out of the way, I've always loved animals, nature, and fish. Before actually taking up the fish keeping hobby I owned some guppies, wild caught frogs, Betta fish, African dwarf frogs, and some other things along the way. I started this channel, because I decided I wanted to actually get more serious about fish so I bought a 10 gallon. I'm not new to KZread and also wanted to have a channel where I could be myself and have fun, and that's exactly what this is. You have ALL blown me away by the tremendous amount of support you have shown me and the content I put out. I post every other day and am always trying new tanks, new fish, and many other things. I have hermit crabs and I thought I was taking good care of them, but after watching this video, there is a lot of things that I have not supplied them with so now I have more info and will take better care of them

My sister had a red Delta tail 8 1/2 years in a little teeny fish bowl she changed the water weekly and he was always happy I now have three in three separate tanks a male Delta red and a male veil opal and a female bumblebee all in semi small tanks a 3 gallon a 1.7 and my happy female in what I call the Tumblr which is 11 inches tall and 6 inches round everybody is so happy
I personally would not pay those stores I’d just take the guys

Xin chào,tôi là người Việt Nam,khi xem những video của người nước ngoài về việc là nuôi những chú cá betta xinh đẹp kia.Tôi cảm thấy các bạn nước ngoài(chắc là nằm ngoài phạm vi của 1 số nước châu Á) thì các bạn nuôi betta trong những bể có thể nói là rất lớn so với chúng và so với bể cá mà chúng tôi-những người nuôi cá ở Đông Nam Á.Ở nước Việt Nam,chúng tôi nuôi cá ở trong lọ,hộp,chai,bể kính,… có kích thước chắc chỉ bằng 1/7 của bể trong video😂 Nhưng các bạn biết không,chúng vẫn sống rất khoẻ đấy!Có thể là 1 số bể hơi nhỏ dẫn đến cá bị căng thẳng,nhưng cũng không quá lo ngại ❤😂

My frog is all white. I think it’s Albino. Anyways.. it’s in a fish tank filled with full water for past 4 months and never came out of the tank.. I never knew frogs are basically fish.
I saw on the net people selling clear glass shells! I saw hundreds of them in the Maldives. One had used a bottle cap as a shell. Unfortunately people take shells home as souvenirs.
Can I ask you why isn’t oxbow safe food? That what I always feed my hamster and it live to 3 years. And I feed my chinchilla only oxbow pellets and Timothy hay and she going to be 12 years old in June

I get a betta fish Friday I had bought a 2 gallon tank. I went back and upgraded him to a 3 gallon tank with a filter and heater. I mean the 2 gallon had a filter but I will be upgrading him to a 5 gallon tank as soon as I can. But I think he will be happy in his upgrade aquarium for the time being until I can go bigger.
I wish you actually showed a set up. I was a little disappointed.

my betta was glass surfing and I was trying to wave my finger slowly near the glass to distract him and then he flared at me :((( I got him yesterday so I don't really know what's wrong. his water's good, temp good, fed him bloodworms, he has a 3 sided house, plants, filter, etc. is it just that he's adjusting?

To keep a betta in a small Tank and in individual housing ist animal cruelty! Please keep him at least in a 20 Gallon aquarium which is according to his needs

Y’all, 2.5 gallons is fine for a betta. These are soft finned fish that slink, sneak and skulk around plants and leaves in slow moving rice patties, shallow streams, and riverbanks, looking for bugs and baby fish. They don’t need a lot of water. With these guys, stocking your tank with plants with leaves that overhang at the surface is more important than shear water volume.
