Poor Sparkle had the most horrific abuse and cruelty done to her by humans, and even though she should fear us and hate us, she has so much love to give. You gotta love a dog.

Others (individuals) have also uploaded the videos but search under Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs This is the 1st ever episode from 2012 so extra special 🥰 The series started in 2012. The last series was shown in the UK early 2022

GOD smiles on this man his work & place of business. Humens have domesticated dogs 2 the point they can't live with out us. So we owe it 2 them 2 care 4 them & give them the best home we can. Don't pay 100s or 1000s 2 a breeder but go 2 animal shelters u will find the best pets there.

Yes. I agree! Don't buy... adopt! There are wonderful dogs and cats at shelters that need a forever home and would make great pets. 👍🏼

Litlle Bonzo is so cute,the kids will love him so much,, the nice pitbul is so happy to be saved and still have love for humans after what the previous owner did to her,, that's criminal! Bravo too the team of saviors.

This O'Grady guy is great. Lovely to see the happy results for Sparkles and Bonzo.

Big props for playing Florence And The Machine in the background, Flo adopted a cat from Battersea several years ago! Bonzo's new family is so sweet, and Sparkle looks amazing! This whole thing just made me really happy.

Oh my goodness... I would take sparkles in a heartbeat 💓. Poor dog! Unbelievable how people can be so cruel to animals that only want to love 💕❤️😢. Unfortunately I live in the USA.

Bonzo is adorable.

I am so happy 😊 to see sparkle found a wonderful family who will love her and provide her with the love and care she deserves.

When one of my fosters came down with Parvo. All he would eat is scrambled cheese eggs and chicken. I had to return him to the shelter and they put him down without telling me or giving me a change to adopt. Same with a kitty who had kidney disease. I wish they'd let the fosters know so we can adopt. The dog, Chandler, was eating fine for me; I later learned they can recover from Parvo. I also had a kitten with FIV that was put down--I didn't know the prognosis but they said he went blind. So sad for the foster families as we fall in love with every one.

That dog he called ugly I thought he was the cutest dog ever

What a sweet precious girl. This is heartbreaking. Sparkle's case is criminal neglect/abuse. The perpetrator should do prison time. I don't know about this particular area, but many places have strong humane laws and penalties (fines and prison, as warranted) for animal cruelty, but all places SHOULD have strong humane laws. There is NO excuse for cruel inhumane treatment like this! None! Despicable. Sparkle could easily have had a tragic outcome. Am so glad that She was able to be saved and now has a loving forever home. It could have gone the other way. When dogs are starved so badly, sometimes their organs are damaged to the point where even with the best of intensive veterinary care they still, sadly, die. Blessings to everyone who helped her and her new family.

I love that little brindle puppy. Take that back..I’d love to have that poor starved little creature. That is just inexcusable. She has the most loving eyes even though she’s near starved to death.

Yes, if you don't want a dog, take them to a rescue centre, don't starve them and abandon them in a London park. Shameful indeed.

Yes and this was criminal. If the perpetrator (s) could be found, they should be arrested and given stiff fines as well as prison time. There is no excuse for this cruelty to an animal.

Does sparkle have a home yet? I love her. I am unsure of the timing of this publication vs her care .. please let us know.

They do use birth control products in animals. Just not usually in housecats and dogs since spaying and neutering them is the best long term decision both for their health in some cases and for limiting overpopulation. But a lot of zoo and safe haven/sanctuary animals like large cats, monkeys and apes, zebras etc and other wild animals, they use contraceptive implants or injections in.
