Several years ago my sister was a foster for a beagle who was rescued from a horde. There 96 deutsch hounds and two beagles. They were ina two bedroom house in Oklahoma. She had spent most her early life in a dog kennel.( the dog was estimated to be 3 years old) The beagle didn't know how to play, chew on a bone or play with other dogs. The dog tested positive for heart worms. After 6 months of vet visits, and socializing I adopted the Beagle. Was blessed with a wonderful pet and companion for 7 more years. My sisterand I hadto put her down because of bladder cancer. Rescued pets seemto know they are safe and will live a better life. Adopt befoe buying a pet😊

I have no patience for people who say 'it's only a dog' or 'it's only a (anything)'.. the callousness is not a sign of a good person. They think of animals as accessories and not living creatures. In this video I found myself annoyed with both sides. The animal haters for their callousness and the owners who claim to care but can't be bothered to keep their animals from wandering. You need to keep them safe and not at risk of cars, cruel people, or even wildlife. Especially in suburbs or cities.

Why the hell did that man put the puppies to sleep? Parvo doesn't kill dogs so long as the symptoms are treated. The virus lasts a week. He should not have been handed more puppies after having his first two murdered to avoid the 'trouble' of simply keeping more sterile for a week.

Tail wagging is a sign of excitement but it doesn't always mean happy. The vibrating collar would be incredibly helpful for the deaf dog. It doesn't hurt at all and while the sign language will work once you get her attention, the collar could function the same way calling another dog would. That little one impressed me in a way. Most dogs adjust to new people and just accept, but he said no, I will yell until you take me to my real home.

Are dogs eyes different from ours? They are all wearing glasses but the dog and he is using the laser inches from the poor dogs eyes. I have seen video’s of people and animals getting lasered and anyone with eyes including animals are all wearing goggles. I hope it doesn’t hurt the dog it seems like it has enough problems.

I am afraid of dogs at least in part due to bad experiences with poorly-trained ones. This includes aggressive pit bulls. I'm getting a little better with my fear when I see that a dog is not likely to approach me, especially a true service dog that is focused on doing its job. However, if a dog is barking at me or tries to approach, I immediately get nervous and scared. I'm a petite woman, and can easily be knocked down and hurt. One of my first bad experiences was being repeatedly knocked down as a child by a dog that belonged to my cousins. My aunt and uncle did nothing to stop the behavior. Then there are the pit bulls...my next-door neighbor has them. One was taken away for repeated biting incidents, and another that they still have (somehow) almost got me when I was just walking down the street; they hadn't restrained it properly in the yard. It lunges at the fence, growls, and fence-fights other dogs. The Frenchies they now breed are showing similar bad behavior. So, for all of those saying, "It's not the breed!" Perhaps. All my bad experiences have been due to the owners not stepping up and training their dogs properly. I don't trust most dogs...and I trust dog owners even less. 😞 Heck, a previous neighbor AT THE SAME HOUSE had Dalmatians that they abused, leaving them out in the hot sun all day with no food or water! They would beg for water from the garden hose when my mother and I watered our flowers! Thankfully, animal control did do something...but not before one of them died. 😞 Just...people, I am begging you. Train your dogs. Treat them well. If you don't, it is partly your fault when people develop a fear or advocate for breed-specific bans.

That Wirehaired Terrier is far too anxious. She must have had some severely abusive treatment. Terriers are pretty tough dogs.

How can that pit bull owner be so cruel. That dog literally has no hair & is so itchy. Plus she stinks. Mange is a terrible condition. Dogs really suffer & can even die. Sharpeis need eye surgery to get their eyelashes from scratching their eyeballs & eventually scaring them affecting her eyesight permanently. Poor dogs. We always used Dermaton on dogs with mange. Just one shampooing w/Dermaton per week & another qith oatmeal ahampoo & conditioner really helps get the akin cleared up & back to good health in no time (about 6 weeks).

It's wonderful that the RSPCA has the power to get the police involved & the dogs removed from terrible situations. How owners can be so heartless & selfish is so difficult to understand. It's incredibly sad the owners are more concerned about their embarassment than the well being of their pets (possessions). Pet laws are far better in the UK.

if the stoning story is true then sadly having a dog for protection is a large part of human history, Im not okay with letting a dog be abused but we live in a totally different world and if having a guard dog die instead of your wife and kids i kinda dont blame the owner. its just a sad reality of being born in a "developing" country

Pitiful! We just don't get it! WE are in the bear's turf, not the other way around! They were here a hundred thousand years before us and doing just fine and we come along and tell them they don't know what they are doing! Stay out of their area and all will be fine!

I have always been impressed by your inspectors. To find out about their rigorous training i stand in awe. The US should be so fortunate as to have your system. It will take a concerted effort on the part of our citizenry to make these changes. Ideally, your former trainees can train our recruits.

I feel so bad .My dog is living his best life since his rescue and adoption from the shelter. Maverick is spoiled with love and has the best care. I can't understand how dogs can be treated so terrible. Dogs are so unconditional.
