Just discovered he is Dutch, his attitude makes a lot of sense to me now. I am currently living here, and as a country they are very blunt and too the point. I like it :)

They are also in a farming region of the country. People also tend to be a pretty straight forward and blunt with animal care.

But they're very nice for the most part as well.

Dr. Pol reminds me of my boyfriends dad. He's also a vet and they have the same personality. Straight to the point but very caring.

God bless Dr. Pol for helping this dog and avoiding sadness to that family.

Dr. Pol is a good, decent, hard-working man who deeply loves his community and sacrifices a lot for his passionate love of animals. Good man.

Wish all vets were this great 😄😊

I finally realized who Dr. Pol reminded me of. He reminds me of the James Herriot books I grew up reading.

I luv the fact he takes care of all kinds of animals. Not just dogs and cats.

My dog had demodex too it was the worst case of demodex that the vet ever saw but shes all better now

I like his no nonsense approach, just get it done. 💟🐾🐾🐾

English Springers are my go-to dog breed: sweet dogs with a good temperament, so I feel for the owner. That being said, Dr. Pol is an amazing vet... he doesn't sugar-coat any issues with his clients and gets right to the point about treatments.

My first family dog had demodex so bad that even after spending $5000 on her, we had to put her down. We were the saddest three children you've ever seen. Twenty-five years later, I take my dog to the vet for every little thing, and darn the cost.

I can't believe people are getting angry that he called a dog stupid.

Its cuz of his personality. He said stupid dog to two dogs in this one clip when they were attacked by a porcupine. Badly. But he didnt mean it like in a mean way. He was saying it sorta in one of those u just gotta see the hilarity of the joke in it

Dr.Pol You are so good at taking care of animals

My Shi Tzu was born with demodex mange. Didn’t know the mother already had it. He lost almost all of his fur and the mange had gone down into his bones. Had to put him to sleep. It was horrible suffering for this dog. No amount of dips made a difference.

Love doctor pol!!!Wish had a vet like that for my cats.

I've treated alot of rescues. Sadly, none with mange were able to be rehomed. It's pure agony for the dog to have those open wounds and sores. The kindest thing for them is to be put down...though it really sucks for the human :(

Has anyone ever heard of Dr.Jeff Young?He is a vet who practices veterinary medicine in Colorado and his show can be seen on Animal Planet. In my opinion,he’s the best veterinarian in the country. A lot of people travel long distances to bring their sick or injured animal to him. He’s highly respected by both animals and their owners. I encourage everyone to watch his show called Dr. Jeff,Rocky Mountain Vet. It’s on Animal Planet.

Hi harik I found a baby sparrow once and I took him home because of a fractured wing the best u can do for now is give him a safe environment . Give it bird seed , worms and other things don't handle him to much he needs rest if possible create a sling out of popsicle sticks, string and ace bandage don't over wrap it. The dove will show you when its ready to go. Good luck , remeber work with it but don't over handle it because it can get worse

ooo the horror...he saves hundreds of animal lives but because he JOKINGLY called a dog stupid - even though he still treated the dog and got him on his merry way - he should be condemned ... get over it. He is a good person and he does good, leave it at that.
