You saved him from a great deal of suffering and a cruel death. Thank you.
I am forever grateful that there are good people put there to help wounded and sick animals in need out there. Thank you for what you do and who you are. You are the best of us❤
Thank you so much for your dedication and care. What a happy ending for this beautiful family.

So beautiful!! Wow such dedication ❤❤
What a beautiful story. I wonder if Scar has the ability to realize how incredibly lucky he was. He's clearly intelligent, and it seems that he's forgiven Steve for capturing him. I was amused at how he wasn't sure what to do when he was released until someone told him he was free to go home. I hope Scar and the rest of the urban foxes in Birmingham never need this level of care again, but I'm glad that it was available and that people cared enough to give Scar the treatment he desperately needed. The footage of the reunited family at the end just says everything about how worthwhile the effort was. Kudos to everybody who was involved in his capture and recovery.
this is the kind of fox news I can support

You are the saviour of Scar and his family
What wonderful work you do and to save this beautiful boy. I am in awe of what you have achieved. Thank you so much.
Thank goodness you were giving him food and he didnt have to forage while he was badly hurt. Means quite a bit to their survival. I had one got hurt...barely could make it to the bowls but in time gained his strength and vitality in a few weeks. So glad he didnt get infected or worse. What a wonderful thing you've done for Scar... And he rewarded you with his return... He TRUSTS you....
great respect and thanks for saving this fox!

Thankyou for making such wonderful videos and helping the foxes.
That’s wonderful
So very beautiful.❤
How quick he is, almost got out of the trap even being hurt!
Voces são os anjos para esses bichinhos.
It's a good idea to leave a towel over the trap As you are training the animal to feed from the trap. In that way the environment is familiar when it is finally trapped - like a den - And lessons to stress experience. Thank you for what you do! ❤🦊🤗 You are wonderful!
Thank you kind hearted lovely people❤🙏

To see him I feel, so m much pain for him 😣😢thank you for your care makes everything better.
❤Thank you for taking care of that beautiful animal and getting him to help he needed it's so nice to see them come back and visit you❤
Makes me sad to think in the wild those injuries would be a death sentence of starving to death. Then it makes me happy to see you gave him a new lease on life. That is a wonderful gift to give a wild animal. I would hope to think the fox understood you saved him from a miserable death.
That a quality time life after retirement
What an example to follow towards animals! Apart from the excellent camera work!!!

Bonjour 🐕 .Un grand merci pour avoir sauvé ce jentis Renard. Toutes mes Amitiés 🐕 💓
Nice to see him come back
Well done! I tried to capture a couple of foxes with mange and it was so difficult as they would never go all the way into the cage (even with leaving a trail of food) and preferred to pilfer food from people's garbages. Worked with both SPCA and a rescue group (in Canada). One tip from the rescue group was to submerge the bottom of the cage under an inch of dry soil, so the foxes wouldn't be put off by walking on metal/bars. This extra disguise step is their standard with trapping, especially for wild foxes that aren't used to humans. Anyway, long story but the foxes were eventually captured (by hand) under a porch and they were rehabbed and released. I went to the release as well - it was magical!
You are a Saint ❤

Steve, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful story with us. Thank you for giving safety and comfort to the different generations of foxes through the years. What you’ve done is so inspirational and kind, and it helps encourage people to do random acts of kindness themselves. Excellent
Ο Θεός να σας έχει όλους καλά!
Ingenious placing that towel down at the entrance of the trap so his reverse gear would offer limited traction.
Excellent job again Steve et al. 🤗 Did you ever see Shy again?

Wow at 2:00. That's not just intelligence for remembering that cage is a trap. That is rational thinking. He looked at the parts of the trapping mechanism knowing the pressure plate will activate the chain, the bar and close the drop door. He know the bowl weight also will activate it. He didn't learn that from trying and error. 😲
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for rescuing Scar. This is my first time watching your channel, which YT recommended because, I suppose, I subscribe to Wildlife Aid Foundation and am an animal lover. 😊
