In this video we treat the old fading paint on my 1989 F-350 with Penetrol. The real question - does this stuff really work, and will it bring shine back to old faded paint?

Your truck looks great. I just applied a coat of Penetrol to my Model T and I’m floored. The original paint hadn’t shined in probably 75 years. It darkened the black and made the little bits of touch up paint blend right in.
A pressure wash and quick pass on the hood/light paint with a cheapie Harbor Freight palm polisher loaded with compound would really do wonders

does this process leave streaks or haziness?
I feel it likes dark colors your right with the gray
The tailgate is off of a 1992 - 1997 year model.
The silver will shine as intended if you use DA polisher
How many hours does it take for penetrol to cure, and how many washes does it take for the paint to stay this shiny?
The silver you have to Wet sand it first then apply the Penetrol
