In this video, Phil cleans, yet more moldy VHS tapes that have been rejected by other transfer companies and told that nothing can be done and to basically throw the video tapes away because they are beyond salvaging. This is of course, completely untrue, and as demonstrated in this video, Phil will delicately open up the VHS harassing and carefully clean the videotapes and remove the mold and then digitize the VHS tape to MP4. What kind of protective gear do you use when handling mould? I noticed that you weren't wearing gloves.

Face mask and eye covering. Gloves make it difficult and not really required imo.
Good video!, What equipment is that?, I love vhs tapes haha asking as one tape I have the tape keeps getting loose in my vhs tv like i keep having to manually rewind It

Question: How many cleaning cycles do you perform on the tape before attempting to play it in the VCR?

2-5 times depending on how bad it is

A blade wrapped in cloth. One of a few options.
