I agree. I work my ass off, and carry the load where I work, and the boss is still constantly on me. I just blow him off, I know my worth. I plan to leave soon. It's not hard to treat people with respect. More people should be like Dennis.

Dennis you handled this much better that i likely would have. For me death is about the only good excuse for not keeping a confirmed appointment if you don't call and cancel.

I’m crying, watching this episode. I used to own one exactly like this until 1999. Mine was a black Laredo Scrambler. I sold mine before the prices shot up, $2700. If I had the money I’d love to buy that Jeep! It was one of those times in life, money got tight and something had to go. I miss driving it with the top and doors off and the bikini top on. I drove it like that all summer.

I don't know........I say give the kid a break. It's summer time. Probably stayed up late gaming with friends. Who knows. Seems like an alright kid to me. And it wouldn't be the first time someone bought a failed father son project because a father was more enthused about it than the son. You know, dad trying to relive his glory days with the vehicle he had or always wanted. And it's usually after the teardown is done and they get into the reassembly and the real time commitment, and more importantly $$$$$$$$, begin to add-up; is when they call it quits and liquidate.

None of you condemning the kid know the first thing about him. How do you he didn’t work a midnight shift or was up all getting things ready for college. It’s Summer he’s a young just because you grew up different it doesn’t give you the right to pass judgement. You all are just jealous that the kid’s dad was successful in life so to make you feel better about your shitty life you jump on the computer and tear someone else down.

My old GMC won't do a doughnut, but I did manage a mean croissant turning into a job site once.

Unfortunately she just passed away June 28th and there were several of her recipes that were beyond wonderful and I was in the process of trying to get her to write them down for me but then she took that damn Moderna shot and it ended life as I had always known it. Damn it!!!!!

I had not had a friend bologna sandwich for probably 40 years. I saw this video, jumped in to our Wrangler, ran to store, got the ingredients and cooked one up for my daughter. Another generation of friend bologna sandwich fans.

I bought a 1982 Hawk. Did frame off restoration. Camel paint. They had after market plane white rims oversized tires all terrain tires. Seats were shot from setting in weather for five years in pasture. Took seats from brand new Ford cab plus ranger bucket seats and bench which fit perfect all bolt holes . Paint job from factory was still decent. I painted the rims chocolate along with pin stripping to match seats. Bought three tops and four doors. Bikini top and doors and a hard top with doors also a full soft top . Rebuilt motor and replaced carb with all terrain carb. Loved that CJ HAWK. SEMPER FIDELIS

Late to the party. I grew up in Virginia near Norfolk, hushpuppies and fried bologna sandwiches are mainstay of diet. With exception to all the wonderful seafood like soft shell crab,umbrella I'm getting hungry. Dennis Collins you have evolved into an outstanding youtuber,, thanks for what you.

For being woke up by a strange man in his home, Cooper was an amazingly good sport and got paid for his troubles. One of the funniest episodes yet. The food looked really good. I must agree with everyone here and say Dennis looks to be one of the best bosses ever.

@@ukultimaterc not if you wanted a triple black 82 scrambler your ass wouldn’t leave! There’s not another one in that good of shape two blocks down the street to go pick up. It’s not a 92 Honda. Your going to pick up a vehicle that you know is in pieces yet don’t have enough patience to wait around 10 minutes to figure out what’s going on and are gonna get pissy and leave thinking your gonna show him! It’s no skin off the sellers back, he’ll sell it to the next one of a hundred guys standing in line to buy that Jeep. If it were a dodge truck, or a camaro or mustang then I may agree with ya some but these are getting close to impossible to find, especially in this condition, and in triple factory black, so for that gentlemen, you take a chill pill and deal with it! You knew it was gonna take a few hours to load anyhows so just go with the flow!!! Life Happens!!

Flashback, I ordered a 81 scrambler from the dealer, it had steel doors, fiberglass hard top, automatic transmission, couldn't get a v8 in it, straight 6 cylinder. The color was chestnut brown metallic. I loved that jeep. It was $8500.00 out the door , taxes and all.....

Great rescue. In Canada we call fried boloney the Newfoundland Steak.😎👍🇨🇦

My dad owned a service station. His mechanic was supposed to come in at noon. If he wasn't in by 1:00, I walked downtown a couple blocks to his apartment and beat on the door until he woke up.

I remember when the Scramber came to the market, I thought they were pretty cool, I was 32 and taking care of the family got in the way of buying one. Would love to have one even now!
