I just got glued to this restoration! The best team ever! Never saw those guys before but I loved them.
It's impressive to see the amount of work that the makers of the replacement parts go thru so the parts are exactly the same. And Mark and all the guys at Graveyard Carz are outstanding with their dedication to the cars they build. Beautiful.

dont they just buy the specifics from the manufacture? then create it via the data they got from the original makers
Mark & His crew did a fantastic job on that Cuda & the Paint looks deep enough to dive into, what a turn around from a burnt out wreck to a show stopper 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is a very rewarding restoration for a worthy cause, great job guys. 👏

Agree! this was a fantastic video. Only hing I would do different is that hate on GM and Ford throughout the video. Don't hate on other old cars. They are all awesome and great in their own ways. It's not about which is, or was better, but that these historical artworks all deserve to be restored, preserved, respected and loved by all car enthusiasts. Hating on other brands only tells me you're a blind fanboy and not a true fan of classic cars. Other than that, great job to the crew!

After all these years, and yes I'm a mopar fan, I still get a kick outa your videos. When you look at how the world is changing and people are starting to realise that a throw away society is not going to make a very good future, it's a good feeling that people like Mark are still willing to put the knowledge and time into the younger generation. Passing my knowledge to my kids and grandkids is still a very important thing to me. Thank you Mark and all that still do it. Stand proud and truck on. 🤟😎👍🚛🚛🚛
I saw the episode and Mark Worman is such an expert. I'm glad you got your car back and escaped the explosion. What an experience to have gone through...Glad you made it...
In my wildest dreams, I rebuild a muscle car with this awesome and brillant guy. I could listen to him for hours, his level of awareness is refreshing ! Simple, no drama, just a bunch or capable guys working for a wise man.
OMG!!! I stopped watching this show a few years ago, because of the shop drama!!! First video back and revisiting it... Awesome episode!!! The knowledge these guy have and their skill set is what people view shows like this, not the drama... Again, excellent episode!

The work you guys do is amazing!
8+ years watching this program and always improving the work quality on cars :D Greetings from Chile south america
This was and is my all-time favorite show that I found on motor trend if not my all-time favorite show period. One of the worst parts of having to cancel my cable was that I would not be able to watch this show anymore. I cannot shear how excited I am to see that I can watch Graveyard Carz on KZread. I do not think that Graveyard Carz can have a bigger fan and I am so excited to be able to watch Graveyard Carz again.
My Dad caught the bug. He started with a little 34 Chevy in the early 60's. Fixed it up and it was a fun little car. Then he got serious and moved into the Classics. The first a '37 Packard Town Car and then a '35 Caddy. The Caddy took 1st place in the Classic Car Club Senior Division. He ended up buying 2 parts cars for the caddy. Every nut and bolt were original. Sourced the OEM leather interior. Tires provided by a company that bought the rights and original molds. 7 tires in all. 4 on the ground, 2 side mounts and a rear trunk mount. He worked with a small 2-man shop, a mechanical guy and a body man. It was about 5 years to complete the rebuild, finishing in '68. They were as detailed as these guys are. It's a treat to see the tradition carried on.
you guys all do incredible work, not just "hey, great work" but serious, passionate, and truly incredible work. i will never be able to have any of these cars myself but i deeply appreciate the brief glimpse into the world of my favorite automobiles. thank you so very very much for keeping these cars alive.
this didn't suck. the narration was good, no manufactured drama, no painfully obvious attempts to emulate better shows, etc. just a fun resto vid of a burnt cuda with some laugh-out-loud 70's shtick added in. i told my friends.
I noticed that you were wearing a "Phantasm" shirt. Boy, oh boy... that brought a lot of memories. I was not even 20 years old when I watched it in a theatre. I wasn't able to sleep straight for a couple of weeks. I kept watching out for the undertaker every night. Phantasm is a classic flick like the cars that you resurrect from the grave. Exactly like the Hemi Cuda, It was something worth losing sleep over. Thanks for all that you do.

I was maybe 9 when it came out. In 1984, we rented it from the local video store. The whole operation, the silver flying balls of death, the Jawas making another appearance so soon after Star Wars (jk!)...but srsly, it was definitely freaky. We walked home in pairs about 1am in the pitch black dark about 1/4 mile. Never been more scared!
This car ended up better than it was before the fire, I'm amazed! Great work!

BEAUTIFUL CAR! perfectly restored. The 70' Cuda is my 2nd favorite car. I am a car guy and and a Ford guy and love the old muscle cars of the mid 60's and early 70's from all of the Big 3. I appreciate and respect the dedication and the attention to detail people put into restoring their car. But as i watch these types of videos weather its about a Mopar or a Chevy what amazes me the most is they ALL compare their car to the Mustang, THEE ULTIMATE pony car. From 1964 to 2023 and beyond they are still chasing the wild horse. I put my comment in here because the cheezy breakaways comparing a HEMI Cuda to "Mom's" Mustang.
Outstanding…a brilliant watch and fantastic restoration 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

My best friend wrapped my 1971 HemiCuda around a power pole 28 feet off the ground with me passed out in the passenger seat, 11 broken ribs , 2 punctured lungs , broken shoulder blade , collar bone and 4 vertebra . A long story with a bad ending for the car .

who else can sympathize with this man tearing up over losing his '71 Hemi Cuda? I was watering up over the sight of her burnt up and its not even my car... awesome resto by GC... as always

Back in the '70s, I had the opportunity to spend some time with a 340 with the shaker hood. Fun to drive. I worked for a hemi-wedge blueprinting shop, but the car wasn't mine. I had the good luck to drive and work on many of those early Mopar hemi cars. (street and strip) Very nice job with the restoration. Great attention to detail.

I really appreciate your attention to all the smaller details👍 I'm rebuilding a 1981 Yamaha XS11 Midnight Special and I am that nerd when it comes to the correct types/styles of hardware so I know when it's finished it will be 100% like it came out the showroom over 40 years ago! The cost of NOS parts is sometimes ridiculous when and if you can find them, It took me around 3 years to complete my 1980 Midnight Special mostly due to my budget, the plus side of that was it gave me more time to snap up the NOS parts as and when they came up usually on ebay, some of the rubber parts were unobtainium so you have to make do with the best used parts available but eventually even the more ellusive NOS parts do come up.

Amazing, reminds me of the film "Christine" when the car was destroyed then returns back untouched. what a restoration!
Amazing that these guys brought this car back from the grave! Absolutely outstanding! I am wondering what the entire project cost approximately.
I remember a lot of those commercials. Though I was never a fan of the Cuda I have always had a special place in my heart for the 70 Challenger or Roadrunner.
The attention to detail on the toupee was incredible
What a great video! My 70 Hemi Cuda definitely didn't have a steering lock. Could that be because it might have been a build from early in the model year? Or perhaps it could have been ripped out by the previous owner as I did notice a few non stock items. While I didn't have the car completely apart, I did have the drive train out for a bit of a pro-stock rebuild and definitely would have noticed if it had any of the linkage that you showed on the 1970 example. I sold the car in 79 to go to school across the country. No regrets, but that car still has a fond place in my heart. Thanks again for all your great work.

Astonishing level of detail!
In 1996 I had a chance to buy a 1971 Hemi Cuda bored out to a 460 and all it needed was paint. The selling price was $500 , but I was a heroin addict and couldn't afford it. He was also an addict an originally was asking $5,000 and sold it for $1,000 to some dude with a trailer. EDIT : Phantasm is one of my all time favorite movie series. I have the signed poster and a ton of tshirts, and the clock from Phantasm 3. Also, my buddy John let his super smokin ' hot girlfriend drive it and she crashed it on day ONE driving into the curb because it was WAY too much power and it slipped out from under her in a second. ! Damn, I didn't realize how many stories I have in my 55 years.
god this car is a dream, this came out absolutely stunning
That Couda looks definitely better than me, even though I was born 12 mai 1971 😉 good work guys.
The nerdy stuff is the interesting stuff. Never STOP!
This is Great work and a tribute to the pre-Iacocca sprit of Mopar. The detail and dedication is there no doubt. I wonder, can they rebuild a car so that it's visually original but it's on a modern Tube or space box frame and has, well, Let's say 2500 Hp with boost systems turned on and everything else modern state of the art.. Perhaps that's a project for a differently oriented shop.
I can understand a grown man crying over the loss of a loved one, but crying over a car? Your idea of what is precious in this world is materialistic in nature. Too bad. 😢
