I am so happy to see this procedure is available in Sarasota! I live only an hour away! I am at the very beginning since I just had a CT scan and had an incidental finding of a 1.6 cm nodule. I also have 3 nodules on my lungs, so this concerns me that it’s metastasis from Thyroid cancer. I also believe I have swollen lymph nodes. I just pray it’s benign and I can have this procedure. I have a lot of symptoms that my thyroid may not be working correctly. I do not want another surgery. Like you Jen, I have had issues with surgery in the past that affected my life and I don’t believe improved anything. Thank you for these videos. It’s awesome!

can you do the RFA for 19mm suspecious right thyroid bethesda 4 ???
I wonder would they complete these on large nodules/goiters

Sometimes. You'd need to be evaluated by someone who does the procedure.
The rfa and the laser do a video on both comparing

Best thing to do is a consult with a dr who offers both to see which procedure you are best suited for.
Are these needles single use or are they sterilized, if so how?

If the objective of this procedure is not to ablate the entire nodule, why bother? Won't the nodule come back? Shouldn't the goal be to completely remove the growth so it will not recur?

That's a great question! I think it really depends on where thr nodule is located and it's features.
i am highly anxious and hearing i cant swallow for 7 plus minutes.. this is freaking me out.

That's understandable, but I can tell you from my own experience of 2 procedures that lasted 2 hours each that it is not bad.
