Save Wolf Lake Film

At one time red pine old-growth forests spanned across North America. Today, only 1.2% of that old-growth forest remain. Located in Ontario’s mining capital - Sudbury - Wolf Lake stands as a rich but fragile ecological gem. In 1999 the government of Ontario committed to protect Wolf Lake however mining claims and leases surrounding the lake prevented
its inclusion into the Chiniguchi Waterway Provincial Park. Journey with adventurers, scientists, historians and environmental activists seeking to protect Wolf Lake.

What a cast! Well done folks, thanks for fighting the good fight! I think we need stronger legislation to take back land unjustly claimed from its rightful owners, to protect the interests of all Canadians, and to ensure that every inch of our land benefits the interests of the many before the few.

These are truth-tellers. ANYPLACE that has such a rare stand of old-growth trees should NOT be allowed to be touched for THAT very reason. How stupid can you be? How greedy can you be? How irresponsible can you be?

It would be a shame if red and white pine trees ended up on the endangered species list .
