Heard this video was a bear to edit and produce but it seems worth it. Bravo, sir!!! As always super educational. Thanks for all the efforts you put in for us hobbyists.

Thank you JW! That means a LOT. I am covered with bandages after the editing process of this one. AND- when I sat down to start editing, I found out I had no sound! Had to use the crappy phone audio and match up to the camera video. Ouch.

Right! That's EXACTLY what I was hoping someone would say. Watch the video now.... come back in 6 months when you have to build one of these.
I will definitely watch this video again in a month when I consider doing a misting system. Thank you.

Fantastic! This is what I was hoping to happen. Thanks Trisha.
"Supreme" info as always Wally! Love the how to video, "Supreme DIY"! I use that same timer for a fogger I have set up for a little humidity during the day. I hand mist at night when I feed. I use a Govee Bluetooth Hygrometer/Thermometer to keep track of humidity and temps, super handy for $10. Your system is a must have if you have multiple enclosures. A extra set of hands and eyes is always a bonus. Nice work Nanette!

Thanks FDT. ALWAYS appreciate your views. It was a HUGE disappointment from an audio standpoint but I had to go with what I had. I started out actually with an hour and 20 minutes of me talking and had to whittle it down to 18!
Thanks so much for sharing!

It really was.... but, there is a LOT of time doing the research into this! I bet I have 20-30 hours watching videos, asking other people, looking for supplies. But, that's why I do these videos- to hopefully same someone else this time.
Some day I’m hoping to do this. I only have two tanks, but still! Awesome video Mr. Kern

VERY nice! I have 2 other mist kings and love them as well (running 20 tanks and running 12). Great systems- plug and play. This one took a bit of work piecing together but I was happy in the end.
Excellent video, I bought one of the small Exo terra misters when I first started. It worked good for the first four tanks it was on but I moved back to hand misting as I've expanded.

@@SupremeGecko Definitely, I'm always moving things though trying to get a good set up. Rather than T from tank to tank, I would like to do longer runs to each tank for flexibility. Put all the splits on the wall and run from there.
I knew my room had a problem with being quite dry to the point where misting some tanks only daily was not enough to keep them moist. This was not a big problem in my mind but after coming home after vacation (petsitter was there a few times when I was gone) and seeing my that my pacman frog was nothing but a dried up husk was the final straw. I really do appreciate you for making this video, and I will be trying these methods out on my tomato frog's setup to make sure they do not meet the same fate as my pac.

I created my own misting system for my dart frogs and crested geckos. I use a ten gallon tank with a submersible pump and run a loop back to the pump. Have to redo this since I changed the shelf and the number of tanks.

I will have to build this misting system, but a little at a time. Your videos are always amazing, educational and well edited. Since I'm a retired teacher; I would give you an A. Sorry that's the highest grade I give.

Hi Wally. What kind of pump can be used for a single tank (18x18x24)? I do not want to have a pump that is overkill for what I need. Thanks.
@SupremeGecko
2 жыл бұрын
For just one tank? You might want to look at the Mist King then.
Why not use a 3/8 bulk head connector to the bucket versus reducing down to 1/4 inch? I realize the lines are 1/4 to nozzles but does intake need to be reduced?
@SupremeGecko
2 жыл бұрын
Right. I did just because of the likes.
Great vids. I want to use a 5 gallon bucket as a reservoir does the bucket have to be food safe for my crested gecko?
@SupremeGecko
2 жыл бұрын
It should be but you can sanitize and wash out a few times to feel more comfortable. Just don't use a bucket that has had anything in it that could be a problem. Thanks for watching.
My Advance mist king was totally worth it. For under 13 nozzles you can get away with theStarter system.

I always say- if you works for you, disregard what others say. Great to hear Josh. This system (fore thought finally) was purchased to actually run about 40 enclosures (I am hoping).

It went away after looking please someone tell me what it could be? And if so how do I get rid of it and will it infect the others. I have a big colony
