I saw someone recently score the entire 8&1/2 x 11 sheet then trim it in half. So, score once for two cards, very efficient.

Score once --cut once gives you two cardbases
That was super helpful, especially about the weight suggestion.

Wow, great info on Cardstock and envelopes, the prices are very economical.I’ve always used 65 lb paper because it wasn’t too expensive and I worry about the weight and postage if it’s too many layers. I live in the U.S.

Thank you for making this video. I’ve been inspired to make my own Christmas Cards this year after watching your Simple Stories jingle all the way cards from last year. Any suggestions and tips for the other card size bases?
Scor pal board has a star at 4-1/4.
My favorite cardstock is the one I have too much of.
I have the same trimmer, plus a tim/tonic one. I usually use cardstock from Michael's. For some reason, after I score, I go to fold, and the fold is off. I have double and tripled checked, and it's still off, with both trimmers. Any suggestions?
I don’t have any card stock, is there a craft where you could make a thick card out of paper? Edit: I got my hands on cardstock!
