SAVE Money and MAKE Your A2 Card Bases

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In today's video I will share my simple process to making my own A2 (4.25 by 5.5) card bases. This is much cheaper than buying pre-made note cards and you can buy your envelopes in bulk. This video is not sponsored but I have used affiliates links below to support my channel at no cost to you.

I saw someone recently score the entire 8&1/2 x 11 sheet then trim it in half. So, score once for two cards, very efficient.

Wow, great info on Cardstock and envelopes, the prices are very economical.I’ve always used 65 lb paper because it wasn’t too expensive and I worry about the weight and postage if it’s too many layers. I live in the U.S.

Thank you for making this video. I’ve been inspired to make my own Christmas Cards this year after watching your Simple Stories jingle all the way cards from last year. Any suggestions and tips for the other card size bases?

I have the same trimmer, plus a tim/tonic one. I usually use cardstock from Michael's. For some reason, after I score, I go to fold, and the fold is off. I have double and tripled checked, and it's still off, with both trimmers. Any suggestions?

I don’t have any card stock, is there a craft where you could make a thick card out of paper? Edit: I got my hands on cardstock!
