Y’all taking all the fun out of the “first time cruising”experience! Let us experience all the foolishness 😂 Like that first baby got the fancy crib and diapers. Y’all not right lol. Me n my husband going on our first cruise in June and everything y’all said don’t do…..we did 😅 We got the Cheers, the steakhouse, the balcony, internet service, the pixel package and an excursion 😩 My husband bought an entire new Adidas wardrobe for this. Shirts, shorts, hats even down to the drowns 😭 (I didn’t even know they had adidas drawls) 🤣 I’m not even gone talk about the foolishness I bought lol. Y’all, let us be great! 😂

Can you all do a video on group travel? Experiences, what to do, not do, save, as a group leader, etc

We just got off our first cruise. We went on Explorer of the Seas. We did not get any beverage packages. The lemonade, orange juice, apple juice, and fruit punch was plenty. We did order 24 water bottles. We did not do any specialty dining. We wanted to see how the "free" options were first. We had no complaints. We will do specialty dining next cruise. Our excursions were fun and well worth it. We decided to cruise 2 months from departure. We did the guarantee room where they pick it. The We did the upgrade paid for $100 to get an ocean view. They took our bid. It was a bigger room and we loved the window. We did get 1 wifi package so we could face time the hubs. Communicating through the ship app was easy. I am the queen of motion sickness. I was very surprised that I did not get sick. I did have sea legs when we got off that ship. We was at the hotel in Miami and it felt like we was floating. We are going to try Carnival next.

Y’all put me on to uplift! Went on a cruise in Jan, paid it in full and now going on another cruise in October lol first time doing 2 a year thanks to you both!

A balcony is so not important to me but it’s very important to my best friend, we plan everything together. She NEEDS her balcony and I could care less, some things matter to I one and don’t matter to others. Pick what works for you and who you’re traveling with. If my cruise is more than a week then I think I need a balcony, maybe, maybe not, something to think about

Went on my first cruise in June. I chose interior on deck 2, mom chose balcony on deck 6. So i was able to get a feel for both. I don’t think I’ll ever NOT get an interior. I loved how dark it was and my room stayed soooooooo much cooler than hers, and she even had 2 big fans in hers. I’ve got 2 more cruises booked, both being interior. Only way i wouldn’t book interior is if i got a free suite 🤣🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

We have a cruise on the Sunrise August 17th-21st from Miami celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary

I would love to see videos/lives/vlogs about marriage life as it pertains to travel. I know y'all don't do "relationship content". You do travel content. And I love it! But maybe you could talk about how you compromise when your travel styles are different or when your personal needs at the moment differ from your partner (ex: maybe you just closed a big account at your job so you're exhausted and you're looking forward to just relaxing but your partner was looking forward to adventurous excursions). How you learned to trust each other in unfamiliar travel situations (cruising and other forms of travel). Times when you travel separately? Maybe you have a girls trip. Did you both develop a love for travel at the same time? Or did one of you have to drag the other kicking a screaming and then they learned to love it too? (my situation!) Maybe one person likes QT with bae while the other prefers travelling in large groups with lots of friends? I might be asking for too much and I'm sorry!! Either way, y'all have a new fan for life! And I'm just soooo excited to see a travelling couple that looks like me and mine! Appreciate y'all so much.

The carnival excursions have a lot of awful reviews and a lot of people say that are very rushed and not worth the money or not as advertised. :(

When you said..book a 4 day not the 7 day trip..that hurt my feelings 😂😅..but everything y’all said was the truth, if you want to just cruise, book guarantee interior, bring your drinks, stay out casino, talk to yo fam when you get back. Enjoy everything that’s included in your cruise fare. We’re going on Celebration on April 2..wish I was going on y’all’s sailing. Sailing during hurricane season has always treated me great… Thanks for info ❤

I booked the spa balcony 9 months early on Horizon. It’s now 500 more a person. :) I had to fly to Miami :-/ 1200$ I live in Cali and don’t want to do Mexico soooo lol

So you mentioned that they will not allow Taylor Port wine; which I did buy. So does Carnival have a allowance in wine alcohol content. I have a Gloria Margarita Wine and the alcohol count is 13.9. Will I be allowed in with this?

I need to call and speak to a person to schedule a cruise, single person, female, depart from NYC.

Instead of the drink package, we bring our wine/champagne, mixers and purchase a bottle of Jack or rum from Carnival. We were in that group that was protesting when Carnival tried to stop offering the bottles. Glad it’s still around, it’s most economical for those of who drink not “drank”. Also, get a guide book to learn more about the ports ( ex: Cruising the Caribbean), look at the reviews of excursions and watch KZread videos and judge for yourself if a self guided, private or ship tour is best for you.

It really depends. I would just focus on those things that makes their mobility better. Choose the ship wisely and book a ADA cabin to fit their needs.

Yep because you prepay for your cruises in loses. The house always wins.

I called carnival about the 12 pack of monsters and they told me that you may only bring the monsters that come in 12 oz cans. No 16 oz cans permitted.

The 9-10 cruises are cheaper than the 5-7 day cruises! No idea why

Don't need wifi for video and pictures. Keep them til you get home then down load them. If you cruise to Mexico, go to your cell phone company and get a month of international. Then when you get off the ship in Mexico you can use your phone and call anyone you like. When you reboard go back to airplane mode. Just cancel the international when you get home. I had the international added to my Metro phone for @ an extra $15.00. I called home from every Mexican port we stopped at.

The balcony is the ONLY non negotiable for us. We cruised in an ocean view on Carnival and the window was so filthy we couldn't see anything outside. On our second cruise we splurged on the balcony and now we won't go back. Forget the photos, the internet, the drinks, even the specialty dining. I order the $4.99 pack of bottled water delivered to our cabin then I can drink iced tea, lemonade and i bring the squeeze water flavorings. Would i like a soda and an occasional alcoholic drink, sure but not at those prices. I bring a case of rootbeer and get the free ice cream and make rootbeer floats. Is it worth another $1000.00 (for 2 for a week) for the cheers pkg? No. As for excursions we do a cheap tour of the town. No swimming with rays or dolphins. Dont see a need to sit by a pool on land when there is one on board. Dont need a beach in the Caribbean, we can drive to Florida. If we want to snorkle we bring our own Walmart bought snorkle gear. We dont rent the equipment. The only time i would pay alot for an excursion is in a destination like Alaska. Whale watching, fishing etc. If you add up all the packages you mentioned just cruise on an all inclusive NCL or RCCL. But if you want to see a new country while eating free and getting free entertainment then cruise with just the basic fare.

We’re looking at a Carnival cruise later this year. If you don’t purchase the drink package, is there a 24 hour limit on your drinks?
