Beautiful model of Big U. SS France looking good, too. The two fastest express liners ever built. ⭐We must make certain that SS United States is saved.⭐
Absolutely beautiful models!👏🏻 Watching the profile shots of US slicing through the water really convey how modern and revolutionary her lines were. This brought a smile to my face. Thanks for posting.

Thanks to you to enjoy
Beautiful models and the two together are stunning. A magnificent ship that needs desperately to be rescued. We've lost her true counterpart the SS France, we cannot lose her. Thank you for this wonderful video and detailed information.

Exellent music choice, and incredible model. What did you make the hull out of?
@MN46220

The Hull is hood made and top parts also made of hood
Beautiful model. So, how fast is 35 knots in a 1/150th scale? IMO _France , United States_ and, _QE2_ had the most beautiful lines of all time.

Thanks a lot! Yes 35 knots is very high speed on water, model boat speed in km/h is equal to (35x1,852)/√150 = 64,8/12,24 = 5,3 km/h in order to keep the same look of the bow wave
Amazing! Do you know where I can buy plans for making similar RC model?

There are not so many drawings available and they are not perfectly corresponding to the hull lines of the ship; nevertheless, we used drawings from MRB (Modèle Réduit Bateaux) which is a french magazine for model boats. The reference number of drawing is PL 826, from MRB N° 598 you can try to buy it, if still available. If you don't find it, I can do copy for you in order to send you to your home. Nevertheless regarding hull lines, you can now find from internet some copy of original hull lines of the vessel. With both you can build a very nice model boat of the Big U.

yes they are, nevertheless they were corrected by the sheet of hull lines of the real ship that you can find through internet - the scale of my model is not 1/225, it is 1/150 which give a length about 2m @@scotthimowitz5422
What model do you use

My own model with a scale of 1/150
Why music
And the ship is getting evicted :(
Putting millions upon millions into saving an old ship such as this is simply not practical. Document it in pictures and video then let it go. I would love to see it saved too but it just isn't realistic if it we're it would have been saved years ago!

You 100% right. There is no organization that's going to take on a ship that needs so much restoration I mean I've seen lots of videos of the inside of the ship and down in the engine room look at the outside it's just a ball of rust it would take a lot to bring her back into any kind of shape. I think the best thing they could do is do what you said document it video it and then I would tow it out someplace in the ocean and scuttle her put her on the bottom but not too deep. So recreational divers could dive it. But this is just my opinion.
