    Both guys beat Benavidez - that is completely biased. But yes I watched Bivol vs Joe Smith and Joe did touched Bivol, he was there all the time. Most of the shots went in from Joe. And the watch Joe vs Beterbiev - like Beterbiev was 2 levels above - offensively and defensebly. No go back and replace Jow Smith with Beterbiev in the right with Bivol and multiply that Joe with 2. It is not like we didn't see this match - this sill be the exact same match - just a much better opponent.

    i saw Bivol doing long guard extended arm after he threw too many combinations. a sort of distance defence while he recover back his breathe. i think Artur will just brawl Bivol and only mercy of ref to stop the ryhtm of Artur to aid Bivol to survive the rounds

    Some of the comments in here are hilarious. I know both fighters quite well and trust me, Bivol will get stopped. If Beterbiev lands as much as Smith did against Bivol it would be enough to stop him and Beterbiev is 10× the puncher Smith is. People fell in love with Bivol's win over Canelo but he will not be able to do to Beterbiev what he did to Canelo. It's going to be a long night for Bivol.

    I’ve seen lots of assessment videos by trainers, and to say AB is close to Bivol skill wise is not considered to be the case. Bivol is far more skilled and the statistics and compubox stats prove this. So many fail to appreciate Power is no good, unless you can land it, Bivol is much faster, with much better footwork. Couldn’t handle AB also is not a one Punch knockout artist he requires an accumulation, and if you think he’s going to wear Bivol down like he has with all the others, then I think you are sadly mistaken

  • @litothecasual

    Well if these trainers you’ve been watching were right I’m sure the bookies wouldn’t have this fight as a dead-even matchup. Just like all people, the trainers you see interviews of all have a bias or they don’t have as much experience with the other. So I think you’d be sadly mistaken for taking their word as fact. In my opinion it’s a good thing that Beterbiev isn’t a 1 punch knockout artist because it made it so he isn’t solely looking for that 1 punch - like Wilder. My prediction was based off what I, myself, see. I’m not saying Beterbiev will wash Bivol by any means. It’ll be a chess match until Bivol reaches his limits.

    @@litothecasual I never said I take any trainers word, as they simply reinforce what I already believe. In technical terms they are very useful at analysing strengths and weaknesses. I am talking about some of the channels on you tube, not famous boxing trainers (who are wrong so often it`s a joke - Abel Sanchez springs to mind) Bookies make odds based on public betting preferences , not skills.. Why do you think Bivol was 5-1 against Canelo?

  • @litothecasual

    @litothecasual

    Maybe I’m wrong but I was under the impression that bookies make the odds based on public betting but also because they got the inside scoop. Agree to disagree then good sir. I know what Bivol brings to the table and he isn’t the most hittable target but he does get hit and you can only get hit by Beterbiev so many times. Aside from UsykFury this fight is what im most excited for. Who do you think will win Usyk or Fury?

    @@litothecasual Well I will be putting at least 500 on Bivol, because remember Smith Jr chased Bivol for 12 rounds, and Bivol was as fresh at the end, as when he started, and there are two significant factors not yet mentioned. 1/ The ring will be big, 22ft or more likely 24ft, as they have big heavyweights fighting on this card, where as for the Callum Smith fight it was 18ft, the 2nd smallest allowed. That flattered to deceive, and allowed AB to get to Smith at will, and so if a near 40 yr old AB can chase Bivol for 12 rounds, then I will be impressed, but I dont see it. Secondly, and very importantly, AB is not a one punch knockout artist. He relies on an accumilation to wear down the opponent. Bivol will get hit of course, but in my opinion not enough to slow him down so AB can pounce on him like he has with his previous opponents. He is way too good for that, and a different league to all others Beterbiev has faced. Fury & Usyck, now that one is a difficult pick.. The key is which version of Fury shows up. If he has not prepared and is less than 100% focused and trained, he will lose, but if he prepares and trains correctly, and is less than 260 lbs, then I think he has too many physical attributes going for him. Usyck was 240lbs before the fight was called off, and you know he is in great shape and he is training deadly serious for this fight with Fury. The question will be is that enough?

    @@Ultimagtr650 $500! I’m not putting up any of money up for this fight so for your sake I hope you do get it right! But Smith is 1/10th the fighter Beterbiev is so I don’t really think it’s a good comparison but I get your point - Bivol is well conditioned. But you also said it yourself, Smith “chased” Bivol. Beterbiev will be cutting that ring off and he’ll get to him from round 4 on - just as I said in the video. Each and every round Bivol will get touched, little by little until he slows just enough. I hope you also didn’t forget that Beterbiev has the reach advantage here and he does box. I’m aware Smith also had the reach advantage but let’s be honest he doesn’t use it to his advantage. He doesn’t have the footwork, IQ, power, timing, speed, or skills of a Beterbiev. He also doesn’t apply the same suffocating and exhausting physical AND mental pressure that Beterbiev does to his opponents. Look, at the end of the day we agree Bivol will get hit. You seem to think every time he gets hit he’ll only lose about 3% of his health points (I’m gonna use video game terms just because idk how to explain it as I just woke up and my brain isn’t fully functioning yet) but I think every time time he gets hit he will lose around 5%. Now by the time he’s at around 80% he’s gonna move less and get hit more and so on. Now I know they’re not on Bivol’s level but Marcus Browne tried to be as mobile as he could… Callum Smith tried… Here’s an example of somebody who was a lot closer to Bivol’s level: Gvozdyk. He was a slicker, more elusive fighter than Bivol. He also had the size and reach advantage over Beterbiev and he was stopped. He was up on the cards but as I said in the video - You can win rounds but that doesn’t mean you’re not getting damaged in the process. So we’ll see… If Bivol is 3 or 4 levels above Gvozdyk then hey, I was wrong. But if he isn’t.. well then, he’ll suffer the same fate.
