SAUTEED CARROTS IN MARSALA....the perfect side dish!

This is a great side dish for any kind of roast, chicken, steak or fish. It’s super easy to make too! A great way to cook carrots and full of flavor!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 -2 pounds carrots, peeled, trimmed and sliced at a 1/2" angle
3/4 cup of dry marsala wine
2 large sprigs of fresh parsley
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
a handful of flat leaf parsley, washed and minced fine
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon kosher or sea salt at the end of cooking
freshly ground pepper
