Finally some justice done to lord of the ring. Funny thing, in the see invisible units ability I read "passive flashlight" in the description. It is even represented by the eye.

There is a mod with Morgoth in it, he's in the Dagor Dagorath mod and he's extremely op.

I would also like to see his regular Necromancer and Gorthaur powers if you have them uploaded

Could you give me some advice? I have the Edain mod downloaded, but I cannot seem to pick up the ring as Sauron. Do you have any idea why? Every other ring hero works perfectly. Also, nice video! The vid is a big reason I’m bummed out that Sauron won’t work correctly for me

Ring heroes aren't supposed to pick up the ring themselves. A unit has to take the ring and give it to Sauron.

StarkillerHDX Thank you for your response. I have fixed the problem (more like it just fixed itself). In my game, modded with Edain, ring heroes must walk over to the ring to pick it up (when they get close if floats over to them.) I tested it today and it worked perfectly. Again thanks for the response though

I’m not sure if I’m using a weird version or not, but other units explicitly can not pick up or interact with the ring, a ring hero must make their way over to pick it up themselves

It is on patch 4.4 I think, it has added the Imraldis faction recently which comes with Elrond as the ring hero. In the mod ring heroes aren’t supposed to be able to be given the ring, for balance purposes they made it so they have to lug their selves over there and get it where it drops. It has a countdown timer before Gollum makes off with it again

This is the latest public version of the Hero-Submod, yes. But it is only compatible with Edain 3.8.1 and not with any newer version.

You need to summon Halbarad and the grey company. It's the third tier spellbook power on the left. While Halbarad is on the battlefield, you can unlock Aragorns skills like Inner Strength.

How can I change the language? I already had Edain in english but after I instaled submod it turned german

The hero submod is only available in german. But there is an unofficial english patch that translates the text to english. That was Sauron.. Yeah I know weird but I spawned Sauron with the ring in worldbuilder. Thats why he is still recruitable in the fortress.

Can you put your map in the desc?

Can you use Worldbuilder for herosubmod? I cant use it. Its always crashing.

That's right. It always crashes when the Hero-Submod is installed. That means you have to remove the Hero-Submod file of your RotWK folder temporarily to use Worldbuilder.

Ah, they are the same. If you add the normal 3.8.1 heroes, the Hero-Submod will then overwrite the normal heroes after its installed again.

@@michaelevans5634 You need to have both The Battle for Middle-Earth 2 and Rise of the Witch-King installed. The Rise of the Witch-King must be updated to version 2.01. Then, you just need to run the Edain_Mod_v3.8.1.exe, install it, and run the hero_submod_3.3.exe afterward. And that's pretty much it, now you can play the mod using the new shortcut that should have appeared on your desktop.

@@michaelevans5634 In the Rise of the Witch-King game directory is a file named "___a999_edain_heros3.1", which is the file of the hero-submod. You only need to delete that file, and with that, the hero-submod is uninstalled. If you're interested, there is an unofficial english patch for the hero-submod, which translates many of the texts in the game. Yeah. Sauron at his prime can even be a werewolf or a vampire. Mofo is the strongest maiar but he serves morgoth which is a Valar.

Unfortunately, the audio is in german only. But there is a fan patch that tried to translate most of the german text, but it has quite a few problems and errors. I did it with a World Builder script. Go to Edit Scripts->New Script->Action If True->New->Map->Shroud or Reveal->Reveal the entire map permanently for Player, and set it to all players. That should do it

If you mean the game, here is a download and installation guide for Bfme 2 and RotWK: forums.revora.net/topic/105190-bfme1bfme2rotwk-games-download-installation-guide/ You need to follow the installation of "Battle for Middle-earth 2" and "Rise of the Witch-King" If you mean the mod, you can start to download and install Edain 3.8.1 and the Hero-Submod from the video description. Yo chill in this mod sauron is very op but with the one ring he is pretty much a god in the lore. Also he underestimated the allied forces of middle earth. He thought he would kill with isildur with tension or something idk.

isildur also has a 50% hp draining ability for sauron specifically in this mod and bonus dmg to sauron in general so yeah chill out
