A few times in this fight Hatton tried some dirty tactics, In both instances in which Canelo hit him after the break instruction was given the tactics from Hatton weren't sporting. He tied up Canelo's right arm so that he could hit him while semi defenceless, Then he exaggerated the effects of the hits to try paint a narrative and try to get Canelo in trouble. Glad the ref caught on in the second instance.

The commentators gave Alvarez a lot of credit by saying he has heavy hands, but I am unsure of why people have that perception. He isn't demolishing guys his size up to this point, he was beating up on naturally smaller and older guys. He still hasn't shown that he has big power.

RAMIREZ BOXING Kirkland is bigger, true, but he is also chinny, so I wouldn't make too much out of that. Light punching Nobuhiro Ishida dropped him three times en route to stopping him in the first round.

“ He doesn’t look Mexican. “ Getting so fed up hearing that sh-. Not all Mexicans are short and dark. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but Mexicans are blonde, blue eyed, tall, fair skin, etc. Go to Mexico and you’ll see.

Why on earth did Hatton stay in the whole 12 rounds? And how exactly was he allowed to just sit down and take a breather twice in the middle of rounds?

How strange, just notice amir khan was there, why?! Canelo was tiny in the public eye back then I remember watching him wondering why this kid didn't have a bigger following, who would have thought the then khan who was doing great would go on to fight canelo and be brutally knocked out, though granted at a weight he had no place being at.
