Saucony Endorphin Pro

watch to see a review of Saucony Endorphine pro. My verys first Saucony review. Im impressed with the shoe, but some of the details are a miss @ $200.... ie midsole painting.

I'd like a side by side of New Balance 990s and, say, a more modern New Balance stability shoe.

I think it's amazing to have access to someone who worked for 13 years at Nike building sneakers, someone who made Air mag come true. I say this as an engineering student.

I love the technical breakdown of sneakers that you provide. You are an inspiration, Not just for an innovation manager like me who wants to create products that are loved, but also for the my wife who is an engineer too.

I have the Endorphin Speed aka the training companion to the Pro. Really slick shoe; begs to go fast. Makes my turnover a lot quicker but they're soft/cushioned enough to not destroy my feet

The foam is a mix of Peba and Pebax. This is different than the Triumph foam, which is TPU. The beaded formulation is to get more longevity from the foam, particularly when compared to the Vaporfly. The 8mm drop is needed to get “over” the carbon plate smoothly without fighting it.

Great video. That 12g difference is really significant...wow! Funny you mentioned Anvil Rose....I watch that channel to learn more about leather and shoe/ boot construction and thoroughly enjoy when he’s ripping the shoes apart. 🤓 That mesh strobel is interesting....why would strobel material vary in shoes...outside of the weight reduction factor?

Just want to give a shout out for the Crystal Rubber Saucony uses on the outsole: it's absolutely a beast for grip and durability. You have to put in serious mileage before you see any hint of wear - my Freedom ISO 2 have done almost 600km of walking and running, yet there is only a moderate hint of wear, looks to barely be into a quarter of its useful life...and the Everun midsole foam is still superb. Well done Saucony!

I have the Endorphin Pro and the Vaporfly Next%. I prefer the Pro over the Next% because the Nike is just a little too squishy for my liking. The best way I can describe the new Saucony foam is that it feels half-way between Adidas Boost and Nike ZoomX. It has that Boost snappiness and that ZoomX lightness and cushioning. Sizing - both shoes are true-to-size. There is one downside to the Pro - I am a size 10.25 and can wear size 10 or 10.5 in just about any shoe, however, with the Pro I could not get heel lockdown in the 10.5, so I had to go down to a snug size 10. The Next% has a distinct foam band at the top of the heel to ensure solid lockdown, but the Pro lacks this feature. Other than that the Pro is for me the shoe of the year.

I wonder if you can do topic about character of each brand sneaker? for Many years I can wear nike's basketball sneaker just fine. but for other line like running shoes, football boots it always too narrow for me since I have wide feet. Nike for slim feet and Adidas/Hoka for Wide feet, is it just a myth?
