Thanks for the reassurance! Had this debate with myself last week before settling on the endorphin pro. Glad I did. Shaved 15 secs easily off of my 5k test run and fitted perfectly with my narrow feet. Best upper, perfect balance of cushion, and oh, the speed roll is heaven. Will save for rave day! Thanks for the review as I have been kind of waiting for this one! I have the first Carbon X and I ran the CIM in them last year and it got the job done and I really liked this Shoe. I don't have the Endorphin Pro yet, coming Monday, but I do have the Speed and there is no comparison and I would go to the Speed over the Carbon X any day of the week. The Speed is such an awesome shoe and I am sure the Pro will be just as thrilling to run in. I am not quite ready to put the Carbon X on the Shelf just yet and I think I will still use it to soak up some miles on those longer training runs.

For a marathon in 3h10 lightweight runner using Adidas Adios 5 on half marathon, do you recommand Endorphin speed or pro or Hoka Carbon X ?

@@jeanlouis731 That is a tough one! My personal choice would be the Endorphin Speed over the Pro and the Canon X.

Hi fordy, recently got a pair of asics novablast after watching your videos, absolutely love them but unfortunately now I've got up to bigger miles I've noticed pain in both knees I'm thinking it must be the heel collapsing all the time that is causing it, I noticed the heel collapsing from the first mile but didn't bother me untill now, my question is can you recommend a light weight pair of shoes with similar padding to the novablast with more stability? Thank you in advance, I also got the polar vantage m after watching your video, it's a great budget watch 👍

I don’t track miles on the shoes I wear I’m afraid as I tend to remove once they have been beaten up by the canal and tow paths are run on 🤦‍♂️🤩

Carbon x is an amazing long distance temp shoe but it’s too heavy to be used in a race. I don’t understand why people keep comparing the carbon x to racing shoes. Nike Zf3, fuel cell tc, endorphin speed etc are more to par. Endorphin pro vs next%, Metaracer, speed elite.

@@jeanlouis731 if you’re looking for a durable trainer that can be used for a marathon then the endorphin speed is a great option. It’s my favorite daily trainer. If you want a tempo and race shoe then endorphin pro… Metaspeed Sky is my fastest and favorite race day shoe from 5k to a full marathon. But the metaspeed sky won’t be as durable as the endorphin pro. So if you want a race shoe that you can get a lot of miles on then I highly recommend and endorphin pro. There are some great deals on the metaspeed sky on eBay as well.
