Absolutely agree with you. I admit I'm a fan of rock music over country, yet I enjoy most everything they release. They can do it all!

HF just released a new video (early access for patrons), musically it's amazing as always but the video? OMG. Home Free kicked ass again!!! The Doobie Brothers had guitars, drums, keyboards and other instruments to make this iconic song. HF only had Adam and their own vocal talents to make it a classic once again 50 years later. Our boys NEVER disappoint!

Did you notice / realise that Adam was doing the high notes as well as the drums? Turn him loose with a looper and he's all over it! Really enjoying the way he's bringing more of his beatbox solo stuff into their arrangements. Love this one.

I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds. Adam is doing the high notes as you can see in the slowed down section.

The layers in this "simple" arrangement are ridiculous ( as if any of these groups ever do and ACTUAL simple arrangement. ). There are things going on in the background that are barely heard, and a few that are more felt than heard at all. They're doing stuff just to fill out the tiniest of pauses in the main sound, even. They are, as always, awesome. Fun video, as per usual, Saucey. Can't wait to see what's next!

This is simply excellent again!! I have been a fan of the Doobie Brothers for a long time. This song is just timeless. It still swings. Really something for Home Free. So great sung, so great harmonies, bone-feeling bass, But for me it's Adam who makes it truly phenomenal!!! He nailed it!! The vocal percussion is just inhumane. So unbelievably good. For me the very best beatboxer/vocal percussionist/mouth artist there is. And I haven't even mentioned his appearance yet. 😄 He's so handsome. 😊 I do like that he has his hair a bit longer again and then with that bandana on.🥰 I love music, I love Home Free!💖

Great reaction, as always! Glad you noticed that Rob takes the lead on the chorus. Most reactors miss that and think it’s still Austin. Their voices are very similar, Austin nails it, but I love Rob’s more clear, forward voice placement. The Rupp and Tim rhythm section can’t be beat and Chance’s harmonies are amazing.

Watching an online video of the Doobie Brothers doing this, they have four singers all playing guitars, plus two percussionists on different drum sets. That means our boys need to fill in for a LOT of sound. And they do, in their own unique way. Adam is just killin' it!

This was one of the songs that we listened to on the way to a Camp or to Lake Tahoe, along with many other older songs.

I get to see the live Aug 27th and I am so excited!! I’ve been waiting years for them to come to Virginia and got lucky that they added additional shows to their tour.

LMAO, this was great, you had me laughing the whole way through. Loving the new intro too -- and I think headphones are an excellent idea! I'm about as excited for you getting to see them live as you are -- for me, earlier this year, they were the best concert I've ever been to. They are so humble and down to earth it was like watching five old friends take the stage (and Chance said he liked my shirt, the one that's in my user icon, so that was the icing on the cake). But seriously, for all the talent they're there to have a good time and do what they love and get people up and moving and grooving. It's an experience not to be missed and I'm seriously happy for you to have the opportunity.

Loved this! I thought they were all terrific but Adam Rupp outdid himself - just amazing. I wonder if it's just my imagination that since his brother (Chris Rupp) left the band, Adam just seems looser and more experimental with each video.
