Paul is Advanced nearing Saint rank in all Sword Styles, Ghislaine is Sword King rank, Eris was Advanced by the time she left and currently Sword Saint after Badigadi's debut episode, and Ruijerd Superdia is an Emperor Level Spearman. Rudy is blessed with close-combat specialists, and I'm pretty sure that's how he became a really good battle mage.

As soon as Rudy heard I love you from slyphie he pulled a homer Simpson and carried his Marge to bed and got to work

Luke so easily defeated by Rudy, a mage, in a sword duel shows how important Sylphie is to Princess Ariel's survival thus far. And yet Ariel is ready to give up her lifeline for Sylphie's happiness. That's a powerful moment and I really respect Ariel for that.

@@Tounushi To be fair, Rudy is a seasoned adventurer and has been training strength + conditioning throughout Season 2. Rudy should be around Advanced at all Sword Styles at this point in the story, just slightly lesser than Paul who borders Advanced nearing Saint/Sacred. Luke is intermediate, not really a fitting bodyguard for a princess if you compare it to Ghislaine guarding Eris. Luke is a bodyguard in name, but is more of a friend and supporter of Ariel's leadership.

@@Khiean Becoming Advanced requires the use of Battle Aura. Rudeus can't use it at all. If you want a more mundane display of what Battle Aura does, take a look at Eris' standing jumps when she got a win against Ruijerd. She leaped four or five times her height into the air. Rudeus can never be stronger than what he can train his body to be. All of his mana is devoted to spellcasting, much like pretty much all of Zanoba's mana is devoted to his superhuman strength and durability.

@@Tounushi Been a while since I read the LN, you're right about Rudy and his Laplace Factor. He's only Intermediate at Sword God Style, but it sure doesn't look like it, he has the reflexes to match an Advanced, his experience is probably the main reason he won. I don't think he used his Demon Eye in the fight against him, just straight up experience in fighting.

@@Khiean In the fight against, Luke? yes he used demon eye, though he would still win even without it, just takes longer time. take it from no diff win to low diff win. Luke himself is just a "normal" good swordsman, it's not him to blame, just Sylphie and Rudeus is just another whole level, some freaks do exist and somehow it's often hanging out around Rudy.

Cliff definitely grew on me a lot compared to how he first started out chasing after Eris. Now he's happy being with Elinalise despite her past and trying to cure her curse. Yeah, a modern day Cliff could save a big OnlyFans girl. lol

I love how Rudeus is changing again how he now has to consider all his choices with Sylphy in mind. He got new clothes cause he would reflect badly on her. He thought about taking on quest from the job board but now he has to consider dying on the job and leaving her by herself.

the funny part is how both Adorkable and Director thought that they know what Sylphie was referring at when she said she want to meet with Liz, but then they were caught off guard when the actual point was revealed. It seems Rudy wasn't the slow one 😂

When it comes to the money in that setting, Rudeus converts it to yen, with each denomination being 10x the previous, with Asuran copper being 100yen and Asuran Gold being 100,000yen. Demon Continent money also has four grades, but a stone coin is 1yen. So getting Ruijerd across the water for 200 green ore coins would've been 200,000yen (1400 $/€). Rudeus house is later estimated to be worth 500 Asuran gold coins, so 350,000 $/€. That robe's price tag is a bit ambiguous, but it looks like we reached a conclusion on discord that it's ten Asuran gold coins (the mark is their numeral X), so that coat would normally cost seven thousand dollars or euros for him.

FYI (skipped content) luke is DECKED with magic gear. gloves that increase his strength, his sword is a magic sword that cuts through shields like butter, his boots give him enhanced speed and he wears a vest under his shirt that blocks piercing dmg (up to a certain point) rudeus found him fast in comparison to NORMAL humans, very slow in comparison to eris, ruijerd even his father. slower even than soldat. he used his demon eye.

@@reignmans Since all one needs is for a mundane item to become a magic item is for it to sit a certain while in a labyrinth, I wonder why nobody has had the bright idea of making a ton-load of semi-precious metal rings and toss crates of them in a labyrinth? Sure, you'd get a whole lot of useless magic rings out of the deal, but odds are, one or two in a crate would be tremendously OP.

Rudy with a sword is pretty much like Gobta from Reincarnated as a Slime, I think. He's been getting his ass kicked by Paul, Ghislane, Eris, and Ruijerd for years; not to mention the offscreen time he spent with Soldat. I'm pretty sure he can beat most scrubs in a pure sword fight.

did they react to the opening?

Ever since that episode when Nanahoshi is revealed to be from Rudeus's old world (our world), I wondered if his true origins might be discovered by EVERYBODY else; Sylphie, his family, the other students, Roxy, Eris, etc... My imagination raced with possibilities, like maybe some elder scholars or sages in the school faculty with heightened magical insight and knowledge of multi-worlds could sense something about Rudeus.... Maybe the Demon Queen with her special sight could learn this about him, or maybe even Ruijerd's Third Eye (his gem) could have sensed something different about Rudeus's aura he just couldn't explain at the time, but later information it all falls into place for him. Yeah, I'm really speculating wildly here... I'd love to see if anything more develops on this and especially how it would affect all his relationships.

Rudy was using his eye in the duel against Luke. Thats why he beat him easily. If he hadnt used his eye it wouldnt have been so easy.

I think Mushoku Tensei is a better story about life than even One Piece.

When Nana said, "congrats" this episode, you could see clear anger glaze across Sylphie's face & she brought the question up again of "how do you know my man?" I can just pick up the signs of when my girl not feeling something.

@@AmericanIlluminati After writing the below. I have a concise answer. If your looking for a flaw on Sylphie..you will find it because everyone has one. But she does not habe a flaw worth noting IMO. Its like saying 99.9 effective on germs. Of course there is always something. But negligible nobody is perfect and it’s normally behavior for your woman to wonder abiut girls your close to. I wont convince you to change your view on whats toxic to you. But because nobody is perfect, i am not looking at her to be flawless. I am looking at her to be above average and she’s leagues above it. You find a dent in the car. Along the side, near the tires out of eye sight. Lol. Its not worth thinking about and considering a different vehicle lol.

while the episode was cute , the pacing of the ark is still so slow. The anime changed from world shattering events and revalations in S01 to a school slice of live love story anime .....while both are nice in there own way, the contrast is to hard. I want man god/ dragon god, whatever this is about content =(
