As a rule, Elinalise doesn't go for anyone already in a relationship. But she does maintain an interest in him after hearing about his circumstances. She's also a romantic. Even if she thinks the possibility of him ending up with an elven girl who's possibly related to her is remote, it'd still be better to leave that possibility open than to indulge herself with the boy, which is proven impossible anyway. They mutually recognize that it would've been interesting to have a round together, but it was simply not meant to be.

Trivia in nanashi scene before she left, Luke was hitting on nanahoshi talking things she interested in but nanahoshi felt annoyed and goes to bath just to escape from him after realizing Luke was nowhere she went out and go to where rudeus is and tell her goodbye (this was not included but from LN hehe)

I think its weird how they didnt include Rudeus thinking Luke is slower than Eris from the time when they were in the demon continent.

Rudeus had a long adventure with people stronger, faster, and more experienced fighters than Luke. Rudeus fought monsters (in the Demon Continent which I assume Luke hasn't been in), bandits and even a Dragon God. Makes sense for Rudy to develop lots experience in these things during his adventures. He even got an Eye of Foresight, an OP gift from Kishirika Kishirisu, "The Great Emperor of the Demon World!! That's me! That's me! "

rudeus is strong af in sword combat the only reason he isn´t a more advanced rank in swordship is because he cannot use touki, i belive the next chapter is going to explain what is touki

The book and manga give more analysis to the fight itself. He does use it at the start since he doesn't want to die or get injured on his wedding day. But then he notices that Luke is far slower than he's normally used to seeing his opponents.

After the encounter with Orsted, Rudeus uses his eye of foresight every time he's in a fight. They may not show it so you just have to assume he's using it every time. Here, he did use it but then realized that he doesn't need to. Luke isn't that strong compared to him so Rudeus would beat him regardless whether he uses eye of foresight or not.

Imma be real, I thought Luke would win. idk how many battles Lukes been to, but Rudy has a lot of battle experience, but not with a sword, so it could've gone either way. i just didn't think Luke would lose right away lol

⁠@@mochachino56I dunno about fighting gods on a daily basis he fought Orsted but not even with a sword. I’ve heard that after meeting Orsted his legs don’t shake in battle anymore though. He was probably good with a sword but no touki means it’s pretty much useless

I remember when... episode 8... after that episode, 2/3 (maybe more) of the fandom just DROPPED the show because 2 of the male character kissed. So yeah.. it could happen. People are fucking stupid
