I was TB patient but God's grace I came out from this situation, same mistake I did what doctor Sahab saying, due to lack of awareness I got MDR TB, I can't describe what type of medicine I was taking, please humble request to all may God not give any one such situations but take care yourself, I leave midway in the treatment

@Arjun Negi sir I did one big mistake by leaving my course of nine months in midway due to not awareness of impact on life, after that my lungs bedly damaged and able to walk as freely earlier, as active to go for my work on three o clock in the morning as a chief executive of times of India press, Delhi cantt, but sir due to some my well wisher, now I have come out this situation, but the demage has been done, which can't be come back, after God's grace now started new life, please always careful whenever anyone near you coughing, keep something on your immediately, it's infection disease, thanks

I m also suffering frm TB in my neck which is swallowen n I take 60 injections + continue 12 months treatment n it goes away but side effects of medicine is horrible n after completing treatment again after 9 months again my neck was swallowen (small glands were swallowen no pain ) I checked in hospital,did the PPD test n it was strong positive ... So tomorrow I m going to see the TB doctors for diagnosis..... N this time I m mentally prepared bcoz some strong sister n brothers in this program who were suffered n did the lungs operations n still alive n positive..... So God give me the power to handle this situation..... Thnks

Puja Kumari , yes guyes later on doctors suggest me to do operation n take out the nodes frm my neck ... but I got confused n hold it for few days ... suddenly it disappeared .... so till now I m healthy n thanks for ur prayers 🙏🏼

This is some very powerful insight on how devastating this disease can be especially in India. I have to ask this, apart from spreading awareness and guiding the ones who are affected, what measures does one need to take to prevent oneself from this disease? I have read that the BCG vaccine only works for children under age of 5. I am beginning to feel that the term 'Prevention is better than cure' can't be applied in case of TB where any healthy person can get affected anywhere, making it truly very devastating. I hope TB becomes the next 'Polio' in India, in terms of measures taken to completely eradicate it.

Excellent Job done by Great Amir Khan! The biggest tragedy about TB is that people don't aware about it as much as required. Majority of research information available on net today is formatted by WHO (Organisation Run by Pharma companies) and is basically received from developed countries. But the situation in developing or undeveloped countries is far different than whatever portrayed. In our country immunity against this horror disease is observed very poor compared to developed countries. Also the the form of disease is different than developed countries. In our country a specific trend of TB is observed which routes from Lungs to other parts of the body, which is medically termed as Miliary TB. Also drug resistance is far more than presented in media. Govt hospitals supply poor quality medicines compared to that one supplied in developed countries. Poor nutrition is also a big problem for TB patients in our country. These factors are leading our country to a very horror scenario of TB in future.

मैंने अपने जवान भाई को इसी mdr से खोया है जो खुद शारदा यूनिवर्सिटी से बीफार्मा कर रहे थे ,बहुत बुरा लगता है आज उनके बिना जीना , मेरी अम्मी आज भी उस सदमे से नहीं निकल पाई है ,दिल्ली के बड़े बड़े हॉस्पिटल पे ठीक नहीं कर पाय ।

GeneXpert test in govt hospital (Ambedkar Medical College, RNTCP, Bengaluru) takes more than 12 days. It's not done in 1 day. By the time results come, TB would have spread. And nowadays, without active TB (coughing), you can have TB (Not active but not latent either). Extrapulmonary TB is very common now.

Mam meri bivi ko mdr tb ho gaya hai. Abhi just report aaye hai.. Usko sewri tb hospital admit kiya hai... Mujhe sirf itna jan na hai ki jo culture report hota hai abhi kar na better hai ya phir mdr medicine chalu hone ke 1 mahine baad... Pls acchi salah dijiye...

Or ultrasound me TB kuch had tak khtm ho chuki hai Par mujhe takleef abhi bhi hain Kya mujhe check krwana chahiye sab dubara ya continue chalne dena chahiye

भारत सरकार के आदेश को MDR टीबी का भी इलाज निजी चिकित्सालय में होना चाहिए। जो MDR होते ही निजी चिकित्सालय सरकारी में रेफर कर देते है। जब कोविड का इलाज निजी में हो सकता है तो MRD टीबी का क्यो नही??
