I'm a teenager and NGL I've had thoughts of drinking alcohol after turning 21 since our society portrays drinking alcohol, smoking and doing drugs to be "Cool". This show has changed my whole perspective. I watched this on the right time. Thank you so much for throwing light onto this issue.

It’s nothing about being proud. Kabir Singh is a "A" rated film, so obviously above 18 are watching it & they must have knowledge about what to gain from a film. It’s totally dependent on you that what you want to gain , the society has both good and bad sides. I think must’ve watched the Kabir Singh’s trailer & realised that the movie has all kind of addictions, still you watched it but then you also watched this episode. So watch everything but choose only moral values.

@@HarshPatel-pl9br but slowly what we watch repetatively (as shown by our bollywood)our mentality becomes like that only irrespective of what we have to be. You can see the changes in society in last 40 years have impact of Bollywood. You can't dismiss it by saying it is everyone choise what to gain. It is human tendency to get strongly attracted towards bad things easily. And we dont even ask our self why the hell we are following any body and it is how much right ? Bad society will slowly change you to part of it even if you don't choose it.

@@HarshPatel-pl9br this vedio has 16 lac view and is bit singh trailer have 10 crore views now it is clear that peoples are more interested in kabir singh what about them who are not even choosing to watch this program? It requires high effort to choose right and to stay on right and we tend to choose effortless path. You say above 18 movie but guaranty you 70% children's below 18 watched movie now tell this people who don't have any judgement of right to gain only right things from movie.

In my btech life I used to drink alcohol as it's sing of cool in college . But after that I realize it's a false coolness , now I just hate it . I think if a person be spiritual & read GITA everyday , he or she will change their way of living.

I am 33 years old and never touched alcohol and would never touch it ever in my life.

Ever hear about salman khans drunk driving incident ?

I watch this episode in 2015 when i was 25 year old and realised that i have the similar stories of these alcoholic began researching. Been in and out of AA several time. But in last 6 six month i have attended 99% of AA meetings. I am proud and blessed to be born as alcoholic bcz i found Alcoholic anonymous and it is proving to be best decision of my life. AA not only make us aware of this disease but make us a wonderful human being. We are taught to make amends to those we harmed and teach us to manage the life and clean the dirty of my brain. I can never pay back to alcoholic anonymous

The gentleman who confessed to his addiction is brave and strong to bounce back from that hell and share his experience with us. Amazing story. Proud of his willpower to turn his life around. Its tragic he lost his parent in that phase. But we live and learn. I'm relieved i never buckled to peer pressure at school uni or in my career alhumdulillah. Never saw the appeal.

This episode is the best for me

This show gives direction , knowledge about what is good and what is bad to young generation . This show must be started again

I liked the alcoholic guest..especially the way he told his story.

This is why alcohol is forbidden in Islam. My own son became addicted when he went to study abroad. He was forced to come back home, a broken and desperate man. He had attempted suicide many times. But now, he is slowly recovering.

Alcohol is prohibited in Hinduism also. Basically all addictive objects are prohibited in Hinduism. It is just that people don’t follow it. But many do follow. ISKCON clearly highlights this and many other organisations also state this.

The gentleman mention as Mr. Oswald pereira is from KRIPA Foundation Delhi branch . The Kripa foundation have Head Quarter at Carmaical Church , near Jaslok hospital , Bandra (W) Mumbai. Headed by Father:Joe pereira . I am giving the name and address for needed , as i my self have been an alcoholic myself , but now living a happy and sane life for last 18 years. Never have I ever consumed alcohol and taken a single puff of ciggerate. 27 and counting 😀

People in India need to understand that you can only enjoy the drink when you understand what your limitations and responsibilities are. If you can handle only one drink then hold on to that drink and sip it slowly . Another thing once you had dinner after drink no more alcohol after that. I drink but I also know my limit is one drink whether it’s beer, wine or scotch. I will hold on to that drink enjoy it and once dinner is served I will enjoy the dinner and come home. Drinking is not a privilage it’s a responsibility.

A very informative programme. Many life's lessons can be learnt. I am not being condescending but I was truly shocked to discover the habit of consuming alcohol amongst young girls. This I must say is disgusting to the extreme. I always looked up to India as our motherland. A land that nurtures culture, upholds good conduct and a land that gave birth to enlightened human beings. It's disappointing to discover that so much of credence is given to something that destroys the body and mind.Obviously I'm not from this beautiful land but the prevalence of crime, rape, alcoholism is eroding what our forefathers built.Come on fellow human beings, grow up and smell the roses.

Alcohol is glorified by pop culture, and impressionable folks are greatly motivated from that. Drinking itself isn't as bad, most people who drink never go down Simha's path. It's actually important to understand when social drinking spirals downwards into alcoholism.
