As a Sat in Pisces I can attest to everything you spoke to! The only caveat I would make is that in my case I internalized it all. And of course I rationalize the rest… so as a performance coach - individual performance and achievement- I only add the “justification” that healthy individuals make for a healthier whole … which being true, makes me feel better lol. The mystical side of Sat has taught me that the world is a gift of experience and that holding things in wonder, is love at its purest.

Conversations can easily lead to arguments with him because his rigidity in how he thinks can be VERY daunting! The idea that a collective identity is required by this placement rings a bell because his view on this is just that! You shouldn’t have an individual outlook but rather come together to reach a specific goal! If you’re not on board with it then something’s wrong with you! In addition, he has zero tolerance for people with excuses no matter what the circumstance, so this ties into the hatred of weakness,… so true for him. Grabbed Saturn in Pisces hates the weak. I was paying a cashier at a local convenience store, and he said to me, " I don't know where all these homeless people are coming from, but I wish they would go back." I was gobsmacked and replied that I bet they wished they could, too. He persevered that they stand on every corner and beg, only to come in and buy a beer. Personally, I think that he is overwhelmed by the knowledge that it could happen to anyone, and there's very little that the average person can do to change that.

Powerlessness. I just wrote a soul wrenching piece on Pluto's transit through my first H Capricorn, and as I organized it, I could plainly see how powerless I was for a few yrs. It broke my ego

#grabbed OMG! I don't usually put comments and today I am giving you two! I have this placement in my chart and your story about other's making you feel guilty or wrong about being different from them really hit home for me. My entire marriage of 30+ years has been this in a nutshell. Until recently I could not even read a book while the other was watching a show without some kind or verbal repercussion at the very least. Not sure if that is how you meant it, maybe I have it playing out to my view point in the opposite way? I do believe that if an individual or collective is responsible for the suffering of another individual or collective then the guilty when aware of their part in the suffering of another should do something to make amends for the suffering they caused. I would caveat this with "a religious or spiritual group causing suffering should be held responsible in so far as the leaders or clergy of that order are responsible as they are the one's who portended to be superior to and justified in their atrocities to those they believed to be inferior to them. I equate religious superiority to a parent who displays the trait of "do as I say, not as I do" and demands respect while not earning it by giving it. Hope that all makes sense. I love to and could discuss this topic to death 🙂 sadly no one I know wants to and most generally get uncomfortable when I share this point of view after they have brought up such subjects. BTW I love how you get such joy out of the using the word "SOCIETY!" I laugh just as hard as you do, it's contagious 🤣

Polio at age 5, nine months in hospital, 4 of those months in iron lung, 1/2+ diaphram paralized, life long lesson in just how vulnerable we are. Still to look at me you would not know about this experience, it's only if I talk about this experience, which I almost never do. This post is very unusual for me. Just to be thorough. 😖

This video annoyed me in a good way!😆😆 First, "Saturn A New Look at an Old Devil," is my Saturn go-to Bible on Saturn. It is very painful to read but gives clarity once I get past my ego resistances. Second, I have neptune conjunct AC and Saturn conjunct DC. This is similar to the themes you mentioned. You made them so much clearer by providing this structured approach! Puns intended. Also my sons and their father have Saturn in Pisces and it helped me to see how we are karmically connected and we are all trying to work through these patterns as best as we can. I have been putting in the effort of releasing these old patterns. Just the other day it popped into my mind that neptune on the AC gets frustrated when not seen or seen clearly, and resents when it is not seen but feels guilty when demands to be seen. An old memory came up from the h4 Piscean depths. Sacrificing for the community, over-identifying with others suffering and making my needs irrelevant, and envying those who plunge forward with confidence power and individualism has been my story, and then playing victim. Now that I am more conscientious of Saturn in Pisces guilt patterns in my psyche, I can be more proactive in letting go of the self-sabotaging effects of these energies. Thank you so much!

I have this placement too, has been a real struggle to understand how and why I felt this way ever since a kid. Internalised Isolation and loneliness is the signature theme of this placement. I want to meet & connect with people but yet cannot, because of the sense of separation from others. It almost feels like there is a shield and defence mechanism I was born with or developed early on during childhood. I feel this shield is also a cause of my severe pollen allergies, consciousness is so individualised that non-harmful particles are perceived to be a threat which then kicks in immune system activation and thus physical symptoms.

I was also raised in a very conservative Christian home. “Don’t toot your own horn” was a message I got in childhood, and I was very self-apologetic and self-deprecating in my teens and early 20s. As my Saturn return has been perfecting I've been dealing with a sudden blowout between myself, mom and grandfather, related to ownership of a house I'm currently paying off and a change to an unfair agreement I made with my mother under duress in my early 20's. They are trying to extort me for money in regards to the property on legally shaky grounds. In the process my degraded relationship with my mother has completely broken down and now my previously good relationship with my grandfather has become strained. The day transiting Saturn hit the degree of my natal Saturn, I was bereft with sadness and grief I could not fully identify or understand though I knew it was related to my family situation. I felt heavy in my body and I learned that would have to remove and replace a 300 pound cast iron drainage pipe under my bathroom which we have been renovating due to water damage caused by poor work done by my mother's construction guys about 14 or 15 years ago. I had to turn off the water, and move my washing machine out before digging the pipe out of the ground.

That was very interesting cos a friend who I had to cut away from last week is a very religious Christian and a lot of these themes were a part of the issues (Saturn just moved into my 11H). Quite a few years ago there was also some tension when she was judging my Zen and yoga practice/teaching as wrong/bad. Interestingly part of Saturn into pisces is showing me where I've been too forgiving and tolerant of such people/'friends'

Wow, Adam. I was manipulated, abused, and deeply traumatized by an individual with Saturn in Pisces. This talk shed, if you'll pardon the pun, an immense amount of light on... Well.... Why they're like that. As Saturn has approached Pisces I've found myself praying that their first Saturn return will bring them the sort of perspective and healthy growth that will encourage them to use their considerable power for good, and not do what they did to me to anyone else ever again.

Right and I think more than anything Saturn in Pisces might provoke these kinds of reactions in ppl but ideally would help to manifest new or refined consciousness and compassion/spiritual connection etc

Also, there’s a term some folks (who’ve left the cult I was inh have to refer to those call who’ve left the cult, but are still mentally indoctrinated: POMI (Physically Out Mentally In) It definitely helps to have a quick way to refer those situations because they definitely happen. Leaving that heavy mindfuck environment of a high control group involves a spectrum of mental adaptations for most people, I think, because it takes time and work to pull away and rediscover our identities outside those kinds of groups.

I have Mars in Pisces and Saturn In Sagittarius. I am someone who’s really empathetic, sensitive and compassionate but at the same time, feel very burdened when my husband or family members complain about their life, “society” , etc… Honestly I hate to see people suffering too. Have your read Nietzsche's "The Antichrist" he goes in about how people don't deconstruct their attachments to Christian morals and how that creates a world of mediocrity which leads to the "last man". He deals with it in other works too like "Genealogy of Morals" but "The Antichrist" is really the summation of his work. Anyway something you said reminded me of this.

Even with the warning, I had a maybe 30 seconds of conflation going “that’s not the 12th house..” Even though I’ve never had any association with the 12 letter alphabet, I did have to read Demetra George’s 2 volumes and Brennan’s Fate and Fortune just because it’s hard to break away from it even without ever subscribing. Also, I was near taking on a personal project of defragging signs/houses/planets and (by chance) stumbled on the fact they already started it in those books, so.. there’s a TON of wonderful Saturn in pisces musicians.. never noticed how many until breaking down 90’s music. I suppose, since this falls in line with a topic I was thinking about, I can state more. When looking at traditional significations and overall views, I couldn’t help but notice a similar motif with The Book of Job, it eerily fits (thematically) with the planetary joys them to where I may actually read it from an astrological perspective. Saturn in virgo 1st, not a fan of religion and religious stories (rahu in virgo also). But there’s that Ketu in pisces. This made me consider it, I only care about that book due to enjoying Lost knowing it was based on the Job story. It’s likely an area I’d deviate with Carl Jung heavily, I also don’t care for interpretations. I agree with Hand in that what many associate with the 12th, it’s actually the 4th and especially Neptune in the 4th house. The point, with the joys you have the asc and its trines with the Venus (5th), sun (9th) by trine and Jupiter 11th by sextile. The benefic’s in the favored ascendant houses, then the malefic’s in the darkest cadent by aversion. By making this bet, it’s like a transit or astrological activation from the houses the asc enjoys to the one the asc would deem “evil”, but they’re just part of human experience. A person watches a movie based on what’s considered a malefic signification, they drive the plot. They’re just necessary. Anyways, these themes are interesting where it brings to these same house topics like, when these malefic 12th and 6th topics are activated as opposed to the 11th and 5th, it is to test if the protagonist begins to resent life and has a moral degeneration due to bad circumstances not of there own. The 3rd and 9th appear in part where Jobs friends view his troubles as a consequence of his own actions and form a judgment where 12th and 6th significations are just part of life. It’s just interesting to see through time that the topic has always been controversial where even the topic of words like malefic/detriment/etc are debated with the interesting symbolism in the word “aversion”. Aversion, not be “turned away”, but a strong dislike. By having a mental slip and still thinking 12th house even though it was referencing pisces, I had a bit of a jerk back when seeing the potential “enemies” signified by saying there’s something “bad” about the 12th house person that needs changed which is the way 12th people may be treated (depending on the actual delineation). It’s possibly part of the square with the 9th house. Part of life is, well, 12th house and there’s a human inclination to view topics they’re averse to as “bad”, so they project a sense that the native is “bad”. In a sense, if a person is (square) treated a certain way, they could form resentments from doing so which is more likely….🤔 It’s still, by nature, a spiritual house but it’s probably an inversion of the 11th as the traditional system kind of states. Just thinking out loud, nothing profound. If I wanted to be intentionally scandalous I’d say part of me chucked when reading about traditional astrology going “so, astrology seemed to fall out of favor at the same time quadrants became more prominent?” Just as a mars in libra joke. This was a cool segment, Saturn in pisces is interesting. I don’t want it to seem like I’m criticizing Greene, I’m just internally debating if a general viewpoint is actually unhealthy or just playing into what the house signifies to begin with.

I have saturn in Pisces in the 1st house, my whole family treated me with suspicion and I alone was meant to sacrifice everything for the good of a whole or in service to someone else because my life wasn't worth it any way (in their eyes) I was gasslit including having other peoples awareness of perception of me gaslighted as well, all of my best qualities were of great offence and seem to trigger people, can not show happiness or confidence otherwise I get a brutal attack. Every work situation comes a time when I am sniffed out has not being one of them OR a threat to the cult like attitudes who wheeled exclusion and other psychological bullying as punishment..i will stop there.
