#grabbed As Saturn prepared to move into Pisces (also my 2nd Saturn return 🙄), I broke a bone in my foot ( Pisces rules feet) and had to be put in a boot (Saturn = restriction) As I am waiting in the clinic for Xrays, I notice a picture of two fishes behind the reception desk ♓ and when I enter the exam roo, i notice a sticker on the floor (like you would give a child) and its a sticker of what looks like Saturn . I kid you not!

Omg. So significant. I met my husband, who is 12 years older than me, in January 1994, graduated with my first AA degree in May '94, we married in June 95, and our first son was born Nov 96. (Still married! 4 grown sons) Now I am graduating with my BA in May '23, finishing my teaching credentials by May '24, and we have the prospect of buying our first property within the next 2 years. In synchrony.

I also remember the following events: Susan Smith strapped her two children into their car seats and drove the car into a lake, claiming she had been car-jacked by a black man; record breaking floods of the Mississippi River; and the clubbing of Nancy Kerrigan before the Olympics and all the media around her and Tonya Harding

For me, Saturn in Pisces was a time when years of relating and study culminated in marriage and career, both of which crashed and burned by the time Saturn moved into Aries triggered by a dramatic downturn in my physical and psychological health. Remarkably, I married for the first time in June '93 when Saturn was at 0° Pisces in my 12th House and got divorced in April '96 when Saturn was at 0° Aries in my 1st House. ❤💔 I thought I'd put together a playlist of songs that I was listening to the the last time around that really resonated with my experience of what was truly a Dark Night of the Soul. I've come a long way since then and gained strength, wisdom, and a love that is deep and true along the way (just a few weeks before my Saturn Return in Aries). May these help guide me in the coming years. Love is Stronger than Death - The The Ordinary World - Duran Duran Closer - Nine Each Nails Past the Mission - Tori Amos Zombie - The Cranberries December - Collective Soul Bring It On - Seal Sour Times - Portishead Hurt - Nine Inch Nails Little Things - Bush Stupid Girl - Garbage Prayer for the Dying - Seal I Alone - Live Can't See (Useless) - Oingo Boingo God - Tori Amos Heart-Shaped Box- Nirvana Hello - Poe Shine - Collective Soul Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden Sober - Tool Into Dust - Mazzy Star Comedown - Bush I'm Only Happy When It Rains -Garbage I Will Remember You - Sarah McLachlan Gotta Get Away - The Offspring You Oughta Know - Alanis Morrisette Natural One - Folk Implosion Take Me Down to the Infirmary - Cracker Who Will Save Your Soul - Jewel Flood- Jars of Clay Novocaine - Eels What Do I Have to Do? - Stabbing Westward Mother Mother - Tracy Bonham Counting Blue Cars - Dishwallla Fade Into You - Mazzy Star

For me, I was around 11 and just entered middle school (7th and 8th grade) where I saw the cutest guy of my entire young life. Saturn was in my 5th house of Pisces. This boy was part of the "it" crowd and I was part of the outcasts, so I decided to do everything I could to fit in so I could get the boy. I wore the right clothes, nail polish, hair styles, you name it, but it never worked. In a last ditch effort I tried out for cheerleading but did not make the team. After that is when I threw a symbolic middle finger in the air and became proud to be an outcast. It's something that followed me all through high school, to now, and was a driving factor in auditioning for color guard and marching band. Which ended up being one of the best times of my life and I had so much fun performing.

In 1994 Saturn in Pisces was my 9th house. I left Christianity. Revamped my beliefs and religious views. This met with violence from my mother's family. My life was threatened and my own mother chased me out of the house with a knife catching me on my backpack. I married in 1995 to a man i had known for 6 weeks and had my first child by the time Saturn moved into Aires for the first time. I am still married to that amazing man who showed me what true love, care and concern was. I have 5 almost grown children who have that love for one another. I have little to no contact with my family because I refuse to let go of my beliefs. So, I was marginalized, hated, attacked, and did not fit into the society I was raised in. Out of all of that I gained the most. Now as I see the return here I am embarking on another journey. Being a Scorpio sun, and Leo moon, I am very vocal about what I believe. I am becoming my midheaven which is also my 9th house. I am become a philosopher, an astrologer, spiritual healer. I am coming against great resistance to my changing again. But I know that if I stick with this I will have the most glorious outcome just like last time. #grabbed

Thank you for sharing! I'm 32 and Saturn is also coming into my ninth house, where also my natal Sun, MC and Mercury are. I work hard every day on trying to improve and consider Saturn (in Capricorn in my natal chart) as the wisest and greatest teacher. Your story reassure me to trust myself and follow my heart. During my Saturn return, I divorced (4 months after marriage, but 10 years together) from unhealthy spouse, discovered my spiritual side (was 100% materialist and atheist before) and fell in love with my friend. So yeah, Saturn turned my life upside down, but I was never happier than I am now thanks to that. :)

That time around I was going through puberty, much earlier than others, and fell in love with a guy 5 years older than me. Neptune was conjunct my Venus in the 5th and Saturn in my 7th. I totally lost connection with reality and told everybody that we are a happy couple, when in reality we never even changed words. I was way too young for him. My parents and teachers told me I was mentally ill. None of them was trained in leading youngsters through this initiation stage of puberty. I was so longing for love and comfort. The emotional hardship I faced back then was painful. Indeed I became an outsider. Now that Adam is mentioning it, it was the first time I thought about suicide as I felt so alone. Today I'm still sort of an outsider due to my old fashioned view on love and sexuality. I've been left on the shelf so to speak still hoping for the right man to enter my life. 🙂

i really appreciate the discussion on the outcast. i was also born in 1981. during that period of the 90s, i was transitioning out of middle school and into high school. and i was definitely feeling like an outcast, even amongst the other smart art weirdos around me. this time around its the same, but different. i've been coming to terms with my adhd, ptsd, and health conditions, working on advocating and standing up against people in my life, coworkers, even doctors, instead of letting myself be shamed and belittled. i face so much medical gaslighting as a woman with chronic health issues, with adhd.. and ive gone from internalizing it to rejecting anyone who uses ableism against me without compassion and empathy. over the last few months, i've started to realize that i'm also very likely autistic. getting a diagnosis as an adult is very expensive for some reason, so it's going to take a while for the confirmation. but i'm absolutely realizing just *how* othered i truly have been all my life, and how isolating and heartbreaking it's been to be rejected over and over for parts of you that you literally have no control over. and working on learning how to stand up and say no, that's not okay, the way you're thinking about this isn't okay, and i matter equally. i'm not intellectually inferior, i'm not subservient, and the way my brain works is just as valid as the way your brain works. so yeah, i can definitely see that by the end of this transit i should likely be in a stronger place with that. hopefully i feel stronger at the end of all of this. and hopefully ill have been able to find the people who accept me as i am without pathologizing or shaming me, or trying to abuse me into their preferred behavior, or gaslighting me into thinking that my perspective is invalid. no more. no more!

In 94 I was in the 9th grade and I didn’t have any problems back then. I was a teenager having fun living life. Being a cheerleader hanging out with all my friends just living life no problems. I can dream I can make goals for myself. My adult life is the life that I am struggling with today. But I understand because I have my birth chart and I know that I have Saturn in the 10th house or career which explains why I have such a delay in my career. I I have had to do extensive work on myself. I am still currently working on my inner self to my birth chart. My birth chart has giving me tools to understanding myself and why I am where I am at today. I’m so thankful that I was able to catch onto this Saturn transit into Pisces. It has really helped me to understand what I need to be doing right now. You know I have Neptune in my first house, so my dreams are crazy. So last night I was dreaming that I was riding a horse. Sure enough was around one. I almost fell off that horse. But the message of that was that I have had delays in my life and obstacles, but I am striving to overcome those obstacles. That’s exactly what’s happening.

Another brilliant episode. Christopher you're putting MLK's I Have a Dream speech in the context of the Neptunian archetype gave me an even deeper insight into the transcendental, multigenerational meaning of that profound moment. Seeds of transformation were planted that are still lying dormant waiting to blossom. And I laughed out loud when you mentioned that Doubting Thomas must have been a Virgo!! : ) I have Mars at 25 degrees Sagittarius and have been feeling the stressful effects of the Mars retrograde in Gemini. I will be thrilled when Mars moves on! My house was flooded and last October the battle with the insurance company to get the funds for the mitigation and rebuild began. We are close to but have not reached a final agreement yet. My vision is to get enough money to cover the cost of the rebuild. We shall see but no matter what I can't wait for Mars to move off my Mars! Thank you so much. Your astrology videos are my #1 favorite.

Thank you so much for your time, research, and interpretations, Adam! 😊✨💖 I really enjoyed them! On a personal level, I have been praying 🙏 (for a while now) for my spiritual gifts to be revealed to me, and I am hoping that Pisces will blur those Saturn boundaries, allowing my spiritual gifts to permeate into my consciousness, as part of my life’s purpose. My eighth house cusp is Pisces. 💖✨🦋 Thanks again!

Interesting episode, thank you. Would love to hear an exploration of the early sixties. I was fourteen when Saturn went into Pisces that time. This transit hits my Ascendant and opposes my natal Saturn and is always a very testing time. It starts making its presence felt a good nine months before and is super intense in the last degrees of Aquarius. I guess it’s taught me how to roll with the punches and to keep putting one foot in front of the other till you get through it 😂

Thanks Adam. Valuable highlights in overview. I was 19-21 yrs old during this last transit and definitely felt and observed these affects in the world around me, as well as personally. Interesting for my own reflection, the Saturn retrograde in Pisces in June of ‘94 marks my entrance into a dynamic with a parental figure that was one misled trust, incredible misuse of power and boundary manipulation, as well as ultimately playing the ongoing and distinct role in the past 27 years of her regular predatory (psychological and actionable) and marginalizing efforts that created quite significant harm and health detriment (imprisonment in my own body) results. I have been experiencing significant breakthroughs periodically, these last few months, moving closer to Saturns ingress into Pisces. I don’t have a solid feel for what’s ahead for me, especially with Pluto entering Aquarius (in my 8th), but I have a sense that my upstream resolve to seek and hold fidelity to compassion and healing for all, against the odds, these last couple decades coupled with a tremendous surrender of “my will unto the gods”, so to speak, will result in a major resolution of these imbalances. And if not in any obvious way, I am creating that within myself. Also, I really like the idea of featuring the 1960’s Saturn in Pisces era highlights. I wasn’t born yet, but wow! What a time right?!

Definitely need a review of Saturn in Pisces in the 60s! I was born during both of my parents’ exact Saturn return, so they were getting the same Saturn action in the 60’s that I got in the 90s. Very interested in comparing/ contrasting the types of things that may have defined our respective childhoods about this archetypal combination.

Since everyone is going into their memories I will too: in spring of 94 I was in college when I met this rebellious, wild skateboarder guy, he became my first real boyfriend for the next 4 years but it was fraught with his alcohol and drug use and crazy behavior, I moved to Berkeley to get away from that crowd in August 1995 and got there the day that Jerry Garcia died. Then the boyfriend followed me out there and in a few years he od on heroin. But he absolutely changed my entire life and the way I look at the world because we were constantly looking at the world through the eyes of the outcast or “the kids drinking and trying to find a skate spot that was usually illegal” etc.

I am in absolute shock tbh. The time period of 1994-1996 was an extremely turbulent, traumatic and somewhat liberating time for me. I often wondered what was happening astrologically at that time! I was in a very serious motor vehicle accident in April 1994, became intensely interested in near death experiences as a result. I also separated from my then husband in 1996 and subsequently divorced. I broke away from the expectations of being 'just' a housewife and mother and feeling suffocated by those close to me. I started drinking and smoking dope and made some life changing decisions I am not entirely proud of. I remember feeling so emotionally distraught, disconnected, yet at other times feeling dead and numb inside. The whole period felt like I was in some kind of dream, even nightmare, that I felt I couldn't escape. In comparison, already at the beginning of 2023 I have been suicidal, having been taken advantage of in a very hurtful way and only just clawing back some emotional stability again. This time thankfully I have much more support around me, and life experience. In contrast to 1994-1996, I am on my own and am desperately lonely. I have reaped what I have sown in that time. I was born towards the end of September 1967 and have a Libra Sun with Saturn in my 1st house, in the sign of Aries (my Ascendant). I also have Chiron in my 12 house. I apologise for the essay, but now I can see how it fits in and how I am be tested again this time round. I am even having trouble with my feet which is very Piscean and certainly putting up boundaries!

So well done Adam .. For me I have the moon in Aquarius and Saturn in Pisces, you can't fathom what I when true from 1990 to 1994, and what I have been through since 2020 to still, it was a nightmare, and itis being again, this is what it made me study astrology for the past 3 years, I wanted to understand how much a human could endure, and all you had mentioned I lived it on my first Saturn return and again this is my second and itis being pretty much the same, even my mom pass away this year on the 1 , one thing I learned , all my inner planets are in malefic houses

#grabbed: in January 1994, just as Saturn was entering Piisces, my husband and I purchased our first vehicle together, a now iconic 1994 Toyota SR 5 extended cab truck. My husband, quite suddenly, sold it last week. I'm still crying.

Wow, the mid 90s was when I fell into depression that lasted over a decade. I really thought the overall vibe of the 90s fed this darkness and glorified it thus making me addicted to feeling the dark emptiness. The music for sure fed this, and now knowing it was Saturn is just WOW. I see now how this new cycle could throw the collective down a dark hole thankfully we will have other signs to pull us all out of this potential.

1994 was the year my second sister was born and I was three. My sister was born at home, so me and my other sister spent the evening with some family friends (one of my earliest memories). With the way life twists and turns, our families drifted apart and I rarely see those friends now even though we still live in the same town. Weirdly, last night I ran into the mother of that family in the supermarket and she gave me a big hug. I don’t think we’ve exchanged more than an awkward smile or wave since I was little (I wasn’t even sure she remembered who I was). It was so nice! But I’m now realizing the celestial symmetry ☺️💫

…as I revisit the beloved NIN Downward spiral album,I smile with glee as I am jamming out full volume. I am taken back to a time when I lived in a small conservative dusty town in west Texas. It is a beautiful sunny day. It is Sunday, I have both my windows and sunroof down. I am in the zone. I am stopped at a red traffic light. Piggy concludes. I glance over because I feel a scowl, from a neighboring stopped truck. Exaggerated large tires, this macho driver embellished with a very large cowboy hat (assuming he has an equivalent belt buckle to match) must have a point to prove. Hersey is now playing, I beam mister frownie face a smile as I promptly crank up my volume. Yesssss, this is bliss. I give a thumbs up just before the light turns green and speed onwards.
