    That tent is slick. I took my Saturn camping on the Colorado River south of the Hoover Damn. The day began beautiful but then the wind picked up really bad and there were surprisingly few beachable areas to pitch a tent. I ended up sleeping on my cot outside and it wasn't really level. The tent on the boat would have been great although it was a bit warm out.

    Hello Matthew, Sounds like an awesome trip! You are right thisd kind of setup would be cool on a raft adventure. I played with the idea of just the bimini with one of those mosquito nets they make for a full bed cover - throw that over the top. lol. Anyway thanks for watching! Keep adventuring!

    Hello, I originally bought the bimini cabin for a 14.1' Bris inflatable, I have a couple videos of that. It also fits this Saturn - maybe a little loose. I did not modify anything - just added a couple tarp clamps to pull it tight. Check out the beach camp video too. Thanks for watching!

    Hello Motorhead! The handles are available on Amazon - here ia a link amzn.to/49HomXa I use HH-66 adhesive, nothing fancy but it works. - also on amazon. Consider a boat with larger side tubes - like 18". The longer boats have larger air chambers. Thanks for watching!

    Just curious, why do recommend the larger one with 18" tubes? Thanks, I appreciate your input!

    @@Motorhead-hm5jq Hello, just saw your ?. I think for me it's a bouyancy thing. I weigh 230 lbs and the larger tubes make the boat feel for substantial on the water. I also believe I get the boat on plane easier as it sits just a little higher in the water. Just my opinion, I am no expert. Thanks!

  • @ChristopherQuest

    @ChristopherQuest

    @@Motorhead-hm5jq I should add, that larger tubes means a heavier boat - if you plan to manual launch - smaller may be much better when it comes to weight.

    may i ask if after using, do your smart trim tabs add speed or any other advantage? didn't see a link to them?

  • @ChristopherQuest

    @ChristopherQuest

    13 күн бұрын

    Hello, The trim tabs I use on the FB365 are from Saturn. They are available on their website. I have the smart tabs from amazon on my 14.1 Bris. The smart tabs have a gas plunger that allows the tab to flatten out as you get speed. The saturn tabs are stationary. The gas plungers have a limited life span but work much much better than the longer saturn tabs. Just the truth. I bought the saturn tabs to assist with pulling the boat behind my Macgregor 26x and the addition does help eliminate the drag and it does help to get on plane for sure. Thanks for watching - hope that helps.

  • @ChristopherQuest

    @ChristopherQuest

    also, without the tabs, I am a big guy and the boat really struggles to get on plane without tabs. I will always have tabs on my boat.

    did you have any problem with the wheels interfering with the outboard motor turning?

  • @ChristopherQuest

    @ChristopherQuest

    3 ай бұрын

    Good point, the wheels and posts must be removed from the bracket when running the engine. It is a tight fit, luckily it is a quick release pin. I found strapping the wheels to the rear of the side tubes works great. Thanks for watching!

    Hello, I currently have a rope ran through each side of the bow transom fixtures creating a single loop step with a piece of hose on the rope - not the best. I am looking at other options too. Any suggestions? I have had minimal issues with the single rope step in the past on the Bris boat. Thanks for watching!
