Great video! Always have had huge respect for the Men and Women of the London Air Ambulance Service! Great to see the MD-902 Explorer helicopter, shame these will have to be retired soon! One of the best looking helicopters out there!

Odd there’s no police for crowd control, people were way too nosy and close! Well, that not something you expect to see at Horse Guards!😻

Most air ambulance services welcome people to look around the helo and take photos when it's on the ground and the med team are away treating the patient. It's great PR for charities that rely on donations to keep them operating.

@@Box500spooks I didn’t know that! Wow! Here in the US it’s part of our local taxes and if you actually have to use the service you’d better have a healthy bank account to pay for it later! That’s one of the reasons why there’s heavy crowd control whenever it lands in an area that’s not designated for it I guess, it’s a county asset. Of course people here are sue-happy so that’s the main reason there’s heavy police presence at an accident/ ambulance callout. I learned something new, thank you!😻

Most, if not all, UK flying ambulance services are funded by voluntary donations.
