    @@ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons omg 😢 I saw it. I’m just thinking 💭 but maybe he was so abused by the people he came from that .. I know this is going to sound completely ridiculous but do you think that it’s possible that he was abused for so long that he is doing it to himself 😢 ?? I know. It’s messed up. But if the MFer that had him before you maybe was picking him since a baby ripping his nose and arms. Do you think it’s possible he could have gotten so used to it that he like beats himself up 😢 omg this is so freaking sad. Idk 🤷‍♀️. But humans have that ability. Maybe they do to. Cause that was a lot of blood 🩸 and he was alone. I’m sorry 😞

    I don’t think forceps are particularly effective. Hands are better. Actually, letting the dragon shed on its own is best.

  • @ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons

    @ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons

    8 ай бұрын

    depends how big the worm is to the dragon, and how much has it been going for bugs. When they are ready to attack bugs as soon as you do them in there. then that's probably when you can free them a hornworm

    That was super great to catch on camera. See what I mean. The cat 🐈 bobbed his head properly cause he sees them do it. So what if something like this happened with Cheecho before. Like the idiot taught him to ram into the glass by tricking him with food or something else. And made him hurt himself then finally gave him the food 😠 I don’t know. But I am so mad. You have been busting your butt taking amazing care of baby boy. I really think you should spy on him. See what he does when you’re not there.

    Why are you taking their old skin off? Don't they shed their skin naturally? My niece has a bearded dragon, and he sheds his own skin. I don't understand why you are taking his off before he sheds it himself????

    I’ve watched a lot of these videos and I’m pretty sure that they rub themselves especially on the face when they’re shedding and it can hurt them so that could be a reason why they help them take it off I could be wrong, but that’s what I’ve learned watching the videos

    I've heard some say to do that. In my experience it's mainly necessary for a stuck shed but ymmv

    If you hurt them or they just don’t want to be skinned, will they bite you? Does that hurt? And is it dangerous?

  • @sandiesch
    @sandiesch Жыл бұрын

    That doesn't look like the dragon is enjoying. It's my understanding that you aren't supposed to do that. The dragon does it in its own. Have a little compassion. Stop holding him down and poking at him.

  • @synderach

    That's actually not correct. It's fine and even sometimes necessary to assist a shed, especially if it becomes stuck, and this happens far more often than you'd think.
