Nice work guys. Sooner or later though you guys are going to fall off the ladders. Be worth investing in a set of tripod ladders with 3 adjustable legs. I did so last year and wish I had years ago. They are so much safer to work off, not to mention so much easier. A real game changer. Take care.

Many will think this is a drastic cut, but it's not. I had this done to all my maples a few years ago and they came back beautifully. Great job!

Наталья, деревья после такой обрезки будут долго болеть. И ими любоваться будут только возможно на следующей лето. А в общем… изуродовали деревья, такой безжалостной обрезкой.

I am an Italian gardener/arborist, this pruning method is not recommended but unfortunately still in use. In Italy in large municipalities in public places these cuts are prohibited and are also fined.

@@harry_le_r3775 Topping can remove up to 100% of the tree's leaves. The leaves are the organs with which the tree produces its nourishment; removing the tree leaves without the energy necessary to power all its parts. The loss of so many leaves activates a survival mechanism which consists in the production of longer but thinner branches, so that the tree can recover its leaf volume as quickly as possible. These branches originate from the latent gems that the tree produces along the stem and the branches and from the adventitious gems that form at the level of the large cuts. This survival mechanism requires a large use of energy that the tree draws from its reserves. If the tree does not have a sufficient energy reserve, the risk that it will die is very high. A topped tree is more vulnerable to insects and disease. Some insects are actually attracted to the chemicals released from exposed internal tissues.

@@ACMElanfra oramai questo metodo è molto diffuso per una questione di abitudine, mio nonno faceva così o il mio giardiniere portava così ecc. Recuperare da una capitozzatura è molto difficile e poco economico quando si può potare un albero in modo intelligente e conservativo.

This pruning job was done right. Severe pruning will not kill these trees. It’s the right time of year; new growth will come forth, and the maintenance will be much easier in the future.

Hi Kustorez! a great video, it's fun to watch you! unfortunately I have to say, I don't really like the tree trimming. It's not professional and the trees are now sprouting extremely and have to be trimmed. As a result, rotting spots develop and the trees have no chance of becoming very old. no offense meant, greetings Steven💚🌿

Are all the streets over there paved with bricks? So never really any potholes ? How old are those streets? We have one street, no, 1 block of street in our town paved with brick. But you wouldn't catch one city worker doing that these days ....😁

This is the private ground of a company... Private driveways, yards, parking lots etc. are often covered like this in Germany. Sometimes even roads.🙋

There is a difference between the climsye in Italy and Germany. Considering the video is from the beginning of March with very few signs of spring Kustorez seems the be in nothern Europe. That means nights might still have frost and the trees are stil in hibernation mode. It makes no sense that you are talking about the trees being damaged from loss of leaves.

Why do you not have one cutting and one chipping as you go? Make the job quicker. Also lay your brash all the same way makes ig easier to handle .

why would you guys NOT start with the lower limbs ? you are cutting the tops first and its catching on the lower limbs. if you had cut the lower ones first you would not have had to fight with that happening.

Yes it would have been easier, but I had to trim the tops of all the trees first so they were level, and then we shaped them!
