Same. Echo and Pharah feel so risky to stay with. If they mess up and die, you’re stranded too. With Cass, you just sit back and chill lol

I usually pocket people who are positioned better, because sometimes I get people on the Spawn Doors, like my last game (I was in Gold 1 then went up to Plat 4) I had a Genji who constantly 1v5'd, so basically a stereotype Genji. Wasn't switching and the game felt like a 4v5. The rest of my team were good though ^^

@@gungrave10 sure although it is on ps and not pc but the play style really helped me rank up solo queuing, region is eu and the name is lanokurdsss, but in game I made it zhau cause I was willing to give it the name from the one who pushed me to top500

I love your videos sooo much, so satisfying and informative. Also quick thing you missed; another reason widow isnt a great pocket is because if shes hitting her headshots its a 1shot without mercy assistance so, at that point your dmg boost is being wasted and is better to pocket another dps. Ofc for longer maps thanks to dmg falloff, it becomes viable to pocket a widow if youre holding reallly far back

i never thought about it, but what do you do in games where the other support locks mercy faster or they are mercy one trick? do you take the mercy anyway or ask for her, or you can play another support as good as mercy?

I don't know if you knew this. Pressing Shift + Crouch while GA makes your cooldown shorter for some reason 🤔

Him saying don't res don't, is leagues different that what I get in games, someone on my team will die in a 1v5 and spam "I need healing button" like I'm gonna get them up with everyone on the face of the earth camping their body just so I can't res.

ive been playing overwatch for a week and i’m trying to get good at mercy, i read that the more healing and damage being boosted onto tanks will make their ults take longer to charge. So, should i still pocket them? i was thinking of pocketing a dps and healing the tank whenever its needed but never damage boosting. any advice is very much appreciated

Lmao wherever you read that lied to you never go there again , the more damage you do the faster your ult charges and the more healing you do the faster your ult charges and yes mercy is a pocket support your other support should be more focused on tank

@@smhqtyt4424 i think you misunderstood me, i’m not referring to my ult. I was saying that the TANKs ult will take longer to charge the more damage and health its being boosted by the supports. Or, is that also not true? On over watch when you click on any tank hero and read their info it says that their passive ability> reduces knockback received but less ult charge generated by healing and damage being recieved. @@scarletl9081 what I said is this because it’s hard to understand wtf you’re saying lol if you’re talking about you damage boosting a tank and it making his ult charge slower it’s not true , if he’s doing damage it will make his charge go up faster because it’s making him do more damage , idk if that’s what you meant or not as far as healing beam it shouldn’t affect anyone but your own ult

Damage boost increases damage dealt by 30% for all characters you are boosting, be it tank or dps, it also increases the amount of ult charge for you and the person you are boosting based on the DMG they deal while being boosted @Scarlet L

I dont reccomend mercy in gold because your team wont do good sometimes, so youll have to get picks too
