Ooo they got the good angles today

This is how shoeing is supposed to be done, now days most guys just trim and nail a shoe on. They fit the hoof to the shoe instead of the other way around. Awesome work

Please keep doing the close ups, for those of us who shoe our own horse they are great angles for us to learn from.

it's not always used or needed, from my understanding it makes the hoof softer and easier to work with :)

I've watched so many of these videos and I have yet to hear any of the horses fart. Are they fed a special diet before the farrier comes, do you edit it out or are they nervous so they clench? 😅 I feel like it's unlikely that none of them let one rip 😂🐎💨

I know the torch doesn't hurt but what is the reason for doing it? Lynn75
