Wish War Thunder crashed were even half this realistic, instead of the planes just exploding when they hit things and not having physics once they're destroyed, allowing ground vehicles to pass right through them.

Вар Тандер рассчитан на то что бы если твой самолёт упал ты быстро я взял танк или ещё один самолёт я не три часа смотрел как он падает и то вар Тандер она меньше реалистична потому что она рассчитана на танки вертолеты коробом и самолёты а Ил-2 штурмовик только на самолёты

Well I mean IL-2 is more of a simulator whereas War Thunder is more PVP based, so of course IL-2 will have more realism in most aspects

WAIT!? Is that how you intercept a V1? I knew pilots used to try and tip them over with their wing tips, but I thought they were able to match speed and fly alongside them and then just initiate a roll, I didn’t realise it was a genuine hard impact

@@goodguyjohn4625 spitfire pilots were known to use the tipping method if they could, to save ammo. Even just a subtle knock was sometimes enough to throw the gyrocompass completely out and cause the thing to crash

It's like, don't think the cockpit controls detail is as crazy as you gotta press each individual button n lever to start a plane up like DCS, it does have an even better damage model than DCS and WT tho. Somewhere inbetween it is I guess. Then again, I've never got to play the newer Il-2 sims so idk the controls part for sure, only tried oldschool Il-2 1946 so far.

it's as realistic as you want it to be, remember though, WW2 planes don't have as much tech as modern ones so there's fewer buttons/options/targeting etc so it's fairly simplified.
