In Recent case & in 2022 I pointed out company's(listed company) callous attitude in dealing with 15G form (dividend) submitted by me. I found SEBI(scores system) just passed on my complaint to company & reverting me with their feedback. In other words SEBI simply acted like a postman. In both instances SEBI didn't give ruling/decision and closed the complaint as such. Being a regulator shouldn't it be doing a umpire's like work. I tweeted to SEBI and retweeted but no response. I had to give up the fight as I found that I hit a dead wall

This is Kafkaesque to say the least. SEBI is insular and so are the institutions functioning under its aegis. The Financial Markets Division of the Ministry of Finance also appears to be blissfully unconcerned. Investors in the end are left high and dry most of the time.

Thank you ma'am Unfortunately till date the shares are not alloted inspite of court orders. Though the article would help the family in some way, Many bribing hands have been involved and no relief yet. Sorry to state but There is no fear of law in our country.

Even the insurance ombudsman acts like post office. My 65 year old friend was duped into buyint a life insurance policy by SBI bank which will mature after 10 years

The ombudsman send his grivance to SBI for response. SBI gave a generic reply saying they explained everything about the police to the client(which they didn't) and he accepted... and the ombudsman was satisfied with it

Good point 😄 but also remember - you are a hero and upright only until caught - when that happens you are finished, because the Indian system does not permit comebacks like in the US. Cases go on for your lifetime and you are doomed to life long pain

Madam, why don't you do something about asking the FIR from the police for a duplicate certificate? As you know it would be a harrowing experience to obtain the FIR from the police. The company or their transfer agents are asking for so many documents such as affidavits notarised, indemnity bond, signature verification from the bank manager, and press advertisement. What more do they want and why do they insist on FIR from police. Could do something to do away with this FRI from police for obtaining a duplicate certificate.

Posting complaints on scores is useless...they just close without addressing the issues

Mam please make an episode on fraudulent algo service providers. It's rampant and i am myself the victim. Tried many algoes. Almost all are fraud. Sharing only profit shots and remain silent on loss.

No actually not. When people cheat the system, loot banks and manipulate markets, it is the job of journalists to report. But India could not possibly have such high corruption unless a lot of people thought like you and felt it is OKAY to cheat, loot and take money!! So do look inwards ... maybe you need to question what you relate to.

we will try auto dubbing. we did that a couple of times. Honestly, the effort involved in doing a tight presentation in a second language is a lot of effort. But will certainly try.
