cuz they dont give a shit about development and gives us romance that is lacking so that we would get desperate and try to make do with even the tiniest crumbs they give, which leaves us with an undying thirst for more. it's rather strategic but it can be tortuous for the fans. thank god for fanfics

U could read the novels, sasuke retsuden, naruto retsuden (they both kiss) sakura hiden, akatsuki hiden and sasuke shinden: book of sunrise (ig thats what its called) these have sasusaku moments and all these are cannon.

You know, Naruto and Hinata's relationship wasn't as mood swinging as their's. They were literally like "oh I like you, oh me too" but SASUSAKU IS WAY MORE DIFFERENT BRUH I GET IN MY FEELS, I HAVE NEVER CRIED ONCE FOR NARUHINA. When Sasuke said sorry while HIS ARM WAS BLASTED I cried and what has Hinata and Naruto done that was emotional, say they like each other?? SASUSAKU NEEDS THEIR OWN EVERYTHING TBH. and that's on periodt.

Sasusaku fit each other, someone once said that she filled his lonely existence with love or smth, but clearly she fills his life with a lot of other things he needs like her umm povs and optimism and all the difference between their understanding in the world, Sakura's nature fits helps in making him see the world in a softer point of view
