@smolbean2170 even though the opponent had Jin Gitaxias Core Augur out, which would normally reduce his max hand size 7 ( to zero, causing him to have to pitch any remaining cards in his hand at the end of each of his turns , the way layers in magic work, he was able to nullify this by having no maximum hand size.

Whenever I see First Sliver piloting good stuff it makes me think of King Kong. Slivvy just wants to run around and be free with it's sliver friends but humans captured it to exploit for profit.

Game 1 that Silver Dragon line is why LVD is the best MTG content creator there is!

do you think you could make a video explaining how you build brawl, or even commander decks specifically? your decks are always very well put together and great to watch. When I try to build one myself it always feels like im missing something.

I believe you could have given the ancient copper dragon haste vs calix by using the discounted reckless barbarian like a ritual(gives you enough to cast orb of dragonkind into the dragon).

Indeed, although assuming we make some mana with one Copper Dragon it might still be better to enable Hoard with Barbarian instead.

It was one of the last few cuts. Having to wait several turns before we get Smaug makes it less ideal for this deck, we also wouldn't get a discount from Sarkhan.

18:22 Better to activate Sarkhan for mana, play Terror, trigger Lathliss, respond to terror trigger with two Lathliss activations, burn their face for 7 down to 21, then swing for lethal

Had already used Sarkhan that turn, but otherwise that would've been the plan!

The Sam and Frodo synergy is very flavorful

Man I'm so lukewarm to those prints, but if they sold the black lotus separately I would be all over that.

Would’ve been nice to have seen Dragonmaster Outcast. Enjoy your decks!

It's a cool card, but difficult to enable without more land ramp. Also lacks a little bit of synergy with Sarkhan not giving it a discount.

~33:00 - It might have been better to only cast lotus and only attack with Goldspan so that Mangara didn't trigger, since the 2 damage and 1/1 aren't very valuable there.

At 20:00 i think playing commander sarkhan would have been better for getting as much damage as possible in, as he could have copied inferno and also attacked with haste

I've been playing Arena for a while 😉 "Baldur's Gate" and the "D&D Forgotten Realms" set have a pretty high density of cool Dragon cards if you're looking for a specific set to open.

Why won't they just bring us back to Tarkir already!?

That card where you roll a d20 and get treasures is potentially fucking silly. I was wondering how on earth would anyone ever find the mana to get +14 on that one dragon that deals 20 damage when it's power hits 20 and I was like "why is that in this deck? hes never gonna have that mana is he?" and then I saw you drop TEN TREASURES and I was like "ah, now it makes sense."

You ran out of cards in some games. Should one add more cards draw if one were to build this deck?

Why does everyone seem to play phyrexian metamorph over surgical metamorph? Its just a strictly worse version of surgical which can copy lands, enchantments and most importantly planeswalkers (Normally Bolos)

Alchemy cards are specifically designed to be digital only and can't be feasibly played in real life situation. Yes, you can include them for fun. But still, they aren't real cards. IMO, a proper and good deckbuilding should also be feasible to real life game situation.

@@nurikhsan8821 Makes sense. Although unlike most alchemy cards theres really no reason why Surgical metamorph cant be a real card. If you can keep track of day and night theres no reason you cant keep track of which player went first.
