This could be my favourite LVD deck of all time & I have been a viewer for many years.

At 15:14 you could have attacked invasion of zendikar and when it transformed it is exiled and cast, which means the creature would enter the battlefield, procing mammoths ability, allowing you to fight muldrotha and kill it, or muldrotha blocks and you kill it and cast invasion as well, either way muldrotha would have died, preventing all the shenanigans that happened afterwards.

As a EDH Muldrotha player you never let that player untap with Muldrotha or you lose.

Xenagos was one of the first commanders i built around for the paper format, glad he was added to arena. Happy to see Ilharg, Quartzwood Crasher, and Moraug as well- ive found all 3 to be excellent with Xenagos

Malignus is hilarious. Though I find Hateflayer to be underrepresented in Xenagos decks.

The best moments in MTGA are right after an insanely explosive turn and seeing the opponent just pause, read the cards, double-check they didn't accidentally queue into the "No Bans Historic" event, and then concede. This deck makes opponents do that. That is why I play this deck.

Absolute banger of a gruul smashfest. I will never recover from realizing that the plural of Slimefoot is Slimefeet

Oh yes! Extra long LegenVD content! This is excellent to come home to after a trip across the country!

and LVD is way too classy to make a song & dance about it. He saw it, he knew we would see it, didnt need to mention it. Love it.

What’s so great about this deck and this video is that lvd got to cast each of those dream big creatures one by one in each chapter, as if he called and multiple helpers showed up like terror of the peaks, bale fire dragon, hog king…. Oh man they were all driven by the god of revel and tore your enemy up😢😢 a great sight to look upon indeed. Never could have brought them all together in one deck, absolute destroyer at its finest 😂

I was confused by the thumbnail...then I saw Game 1. Cleanup on aisle 7. Dead Kethis player!

At 15:06 if you had attacked Invasion of Zendikar then Awakened Skyclave entering the battlefield would've triggered Thorn Mammoth allowing you to fight Muldrotha with the 12/11 Thorn Mammoth.

9/10 no Colossal Dreadmaw

A 1h30 video is such a treat! I can't help myself though, at 15:15 another upside of attacking the battle is that, as it flips to a creature, mammoth would trigger and you could fight Muldrotha. In the end it didn't matter, but interesting to consider the versatility of the battle cards.

In the last game, if had boosted the Peaks then Swung, he'd been able to trample past the titan, dealing 5 damage and having a second attack phase with a 13/12 Peak that'll double into a 27/25 peaks. Either way a fantastic video

Xenagos, God of Revels will be the summer blockbuster in Arena Brawl

Mono black is probably the best matchup for this deck since the only real answear to Xenagos they have is Invoke Despair unless I'm forgetting about another edict/exile effect for enchantments.

First! Gruul smash!

In the game against frodo, you probably had an extra turn to win, since frodo wins if you’re already tempted 4 times when he does the damage. And leveling him up would have spent almost his whole mana. He would have needed a land and a 1 mana cost tempting effect, which i dont know if there is in orzhov.

Mmm I love that card, he was in the 99 of some of my favorite commander decks, Atla Palani, and I have him in my Minsc and Boo deck now, after years of soul searching I think I am a gruul card.

Wins against Atraxa give me life

At 8:40 Selvala seems like the much higher upside play: you can untap and play Vorinclex, drawing a card off of Selvala and finding some forests, then play one and activate Selvala for 6 mana, casting Xenagos and even Blizzard Brawl, killing their strongest thing and attacking for 14 trample damage, with them drawing a card being an acceptable downside. Although it of course doesn't matter too much if they just kill it, but there could be a world where they let her live so they can draw. Also at 14:10 it seems better to play Explore, Selvala, and Leafkin, let them tap out to draw a card with Muldrotha, then play Thorn Mammoth and use Selvala to play Xenagos as well. But I am very much a sucker for Selvala value, and it's not like the end result would have changed in either situation.

@LegenVD that's strange. I noticed in game 1 or 2 that you went for a land and didn't need the mana that turn. Would have been the perfect time for it. But I guess since it's a tapped land people avoid it in 1v1. I run it in my decks, but I play commander, so it's OK to go a bit slower.

It’s an option, but most big boys already have a form of evasion and it’s a little slow at drawing cards.
