Hey Mamo, I greatly appreciate that you demonstrated someone actually recording into this mic and how it sounds pretty decent with an Apple iPhone!!! You were able to help me make this decision quite easily as this device is also pretty affordable compared with some of its competitors like the Shure MOTIV MV88 which also seems to work well but why spend the extra $100 for it? I don't give out my likes easily, but I think your video deserves it!! Thank you! :D

How are you liking it? How does it do in the wind? Also how does it do in loud places or in public places? Basically is it suitable for a vlog setting

@@zzaynr It is working pretty OK but I usually use it in a room. Feel free to check out my video about "Gas Prices Are Skyrocketing" to hear the wind in the beginning but somehow it quieted down soon after and you could hear birds chirping, and I recorded it with the SmartRecorder app that is compatible with Saramonic using the Level 2 noise cancel setting. I haven't used it with crowds yet. Good luck!

Can I use this microphone in video conferences with zoom or video calls with skype, that is, when connecting it to the smart phone, the audio output to the cell phone speaker is not disabled?

Not bad! That could be an option for my SmartLav+ in some cases. But the wireless lav mentioned sounds interesting too.

@@MamoAir great and thank you for the reply. I normally use wireless Go from Rode, but it takes time to set it up. Your mic is quick to set up and perfect for iPhones. So it is great solution when time is a limiting factor.

I have got the mic now and am using it pretty much when I am out and about. The quality of phone itself is great but for that extra professional touch, whilst on the go, this mic lends itself perfectly. Thank you Mamo. The mic has earned its place next to my mobile.

Hello again. Thanks for the comment. There is no need to install any app with the microphone. The microphone needs to be connected to your recording device, not gimbals. 😉
