Hi Navneeth. Thank you so much for posting this lesson. It's very helpful for me. I was introduced to the centuries-old pedagogical exercises, Sarali Varisai, some years ago in vocal training. As a Western keyboard player, it was not easy for me to clearly hear and incorporate the gamakam. Being able to listen and see your fingers in motion clears up a lot of what I've been missing. 🙏🏻

no prerequisites. reinstall geoshred. uninstall other geoshred apps, like geoshred play etc. then give it a try

Bro small request if it makes sense....i am very bad at playing by ear so i am watching your finger movement and hearing sound ....but there is some latency which is common and obvious....maybe by moving the video some milliseconds so that your finger movement and audio generated match exactly it will be good......only if it is possible....otherwise thanks bro i was searching for Carnatic tutorials for Geoshred and you are the one out there now

on guitar based presets, tap on the guitar, change coarse tune. on geoswam and naada instruments, tap on the instrument tap on Expert and change Coarse Tuning.

Sir, I don't have any recording equipment so when the app says midi iam afraid it might not work on ipad with out computer or recording equipment. Can u clear my doubt which is wil it work with out any thing like that?

if it's geoshred pro it will work on ipad without requiring and external sound modules or other sound apps. It wlll also work with external modules and other apps. Geoshred play has its own sounds as well but cannot edit presets. Geoshred control is a midi controller which doesn't have sound of its own

Will the Preset work in iPhone ? Do we need a separate preset for iPhone ?

the purchases will be available as a download button whenever you login using your Apple ID. You don't have to purchase anything more than once

You can start with Geoshred like any other instrument, but have to learn music alongside to be able to play.

Go to App Store on your iPad or iPhone and type "Geoshred Pro". Purchase the one with the green colored "G" on the icon

I downloaded and installed Geoshred Pro on my ipad. Installed your preset also. But I don't find performance option in my Geoshred. Is there an option I need to set somewhere?

The features and screens I showed are from Geoshred Pro. In Geoshred Play, you'll have to go to Settings -> Scale / Root . Change it to Global and edit it there

It’s possible to tune it like a guitar with 6 strings EBGDAE. Then pretty much the strings and frets will resemble a guitar and thus, you technically can. Also depends on how playable the guitar score is using two hands and three fingers per hand! Ain’t easy but doable.

It's done differently in Play. They're available as global Settings. Access the settings under Global and you should see Root, Scale and keyboard layout

@@phaneendranrao4165 No. Geoshred is not a free app. It’s basic purchase gives you the guitar and guitar based sounds. The other sounds like Violin, Cello, Flute, Trumpet, Veena, Sarangi etc., are all in-app purchases
