Sarajevo 1941- German occupation - Ilijas
This piece of historic film footage shows Sarajevo during the 1940s. A city which unifies moslem, christian and jewish traditions. The film shows rare footage of Sarajevo incl. street scenes, several filmshots of a mosc and a hoca giving religious services. Finally we see a traditional dance in the village of Ilijas, located in the outskirts of Sarajevo. More historic Sarajevo footage is in our playlist: wordlfilmheritage. Interesting footage nazi soldier with agfa reels commendable makes me think of past family and how I'm able to be here.
Are the young people from 3:55-4:55 ethnic Serbs or Croats or Muslim? Is there a way to tell by how they are dressed?

Muslims are not an ethnicity. So your question is invalid. Muslim is a religious group, same like Christians are. Your question would've been valid if you asked if the people were Christians or Muslims. Or, if you're interested about ethnicity, you could have asked if they were Serbs, Croats or Bosniaks.

Yes they are serbs, with white dress, and šubara hat on heads, and bosniak muslims are with fes on head

Sarajevo, miris aška i sufizma, kakvi velikani i sufije su kročile i bivale na ovim prostorima birvaktile.. I dan danas ogromnu duhovnu ulogu igraju. Masha'Allah.

Very misleading: ignores the terror of the Germans and the Ustasa and the genocide of the Jews which accounted for about 20% of Sarajevo's population.
Germans dance serbian-bosnian kolo dance hand by hand 5:22😃. Regardless what I am Serbian, I don't like that dance.
