They didn't say that she could ask just one question. So she could have asked a basic question (2+2, do I have hair, etc.) figured out which one was the liar, then asked the truth one which door leads to the castle. 'Course here she could have climbed the wall then walked the roof of the maze.

If the blue guy was the liar when he says those are the rules then the truth would be there are no rules. Thus still gets you nowhere because if there is no rules both could lie or tell the truth. I think. I'm so sorry lol

Their names are Ralph and Alph (the top two) and Jim and Tim (bottom two)

Those door guys sure are funny

From this movie .it wasn't until this point in my life that I understude my journey in life.

But sense they were the one’s who explain it that would mean both of them would be lying. And that would also mean neither one of the doors would lead to certain death nor the castle. Or both doors would lead to both certain death and the castle. But we know from the next seen that the ladder would not be the true Edit: but if blue says that’s the dead end behind you.... oh wait he’s being sarcastic! Which means it wasn’t a actual statement

Blue: One of us always tells the truth and one of us always tells lies. You don't know if that is a true statement

This riddle is as complicated as the water jug riddle in Die Hard

Actually - that one's pretty easy in Diehard 3 - but the Editors of movie really screwed it up. look here; You've got a 5gal, a 3gal, and endless water. Fill the 5gal, pour it into 3gal, so 2gal left in 5gal Dump out entire 3gal Pour the 2gals from the 5gal into the 3gal Fill the 5gal again, but this time, pour it only to fill the 3gal (which already has 2gals), hence you're only pouring out 1gal from the 5gal... Which leaves you with 4 Gallons in the 5gal! \o/ Try the 13/7 ones and end up with 2, it's more fun :-D

@@uscman yep -- another funny thing about that Movie; There's mention of 2 extremely famous people in the movie. 1 is Hillary Clinton, the other is Donald Trump! IINM, it came out in 1995 or 96

the truth of the riddle is that they both lie, and both doors lead to "Certain Death" that's how the riddle always functions regardless of who tells it. That said since labyrinth is very much wizard of Oz meets alice in wonderland, there's the possibility that both doors lead to the castle, but jareth decided to remove the floor in whichever one she entered, much like how he changed the wall behind her and had his goblins move her arrows.
