I‘m german and didn’t know the german version only the Korean version till today, i‘m so in shock 💀💀💀

Both sides bought the song in 2008, with the agreement that TVXQ perform only in Asia and Sarah only in EU/US respectively. Why? Because the song is awesome, the producer got more money by selling it twice, and we can enjoy both versions. :) No one copied anything.

I actually like both versions because they present different perspectives on the song, like they are actually speaking to each other

As a German I knew this song forever. I got into Kpop a few years ago and it was so funny when I discovered Mirotic. Sarah still slays tho haha. Both versions are awesome.

The song was sold to both TVXQ and Sarah by some Danish composers. Sarah's version was released in August 2008 and TVXQ's came out in September 2008. No one copied anyone.

I love both version. TVXQ's a male version in korean and Sarah Connor's the female version in English.

before you start the hate take a moment and read this The writers of the song had sold the single to two separate companies. One being Connor's and the other being SM Entertainment, a South Korean music company. The song was sold with the understanding that Connor's version could only be released within North America and European regions and Australia and SM Entertainment could only release the song in Asian regions of the world. SM artist TVXQ used the song as the lead single in their 4th studio album Mirotic and it went to number one in Japan.

Mirotic will always remain iconic and my favourite BUT, back then when it was released I only knew Sarah‘s version and this was honestly my jam lmao. Good old times ✨

I do prefer this version too, but not because the language, but because i think Sarah's sexappeal fix in a better way with the intention of the melody. More enigmatic, industrial and exotic. Perfect for miss Connor. That's why I think Sexy As Hell is her best work yet.

Guys, Listen! After doing some research, this song (Sarah Connor) came out months before TVXQ's! TVXQ did the same in a korean version, since Sarah Connor's song was said to be only sold within North America's Region. With Sarah Connor's understanding, TVXQ brought out their own version! THEY BOTH HAVE THEIR OWN VERSION AND NO ONE COPIED THE OTHER, SO CHILL!

I'm Cassiopeia, a fan of TVXQ, and the REAL fans know that there are two versions of this song. Both are good and have their own something. It is such a good luck for us to enjoy these.

I don't think both versions can be compared even because they both have a very different feel to them. This is more sultry while mirotic was more subtle i think. either way both are good

I've seen some comments saying that TVXQ plagiarism. You should know that SM has bought the copyright. They do not plagiarize.

That is not what people are ranting about. The thing that no one understands, is that none of these artists copied the other. But unfortunately, people are too lazy to research about these things (unlike the both of us), and rather than doing that, they go ahead and make up stupid things. In my opinion, they did a good job in releasing it in 2 languages. If I was the producer, I would have released both versions at the SAME time, to make it obvious to everyone, that no one copied the other :D
