Wow - that’s the exact same reaction I had. Immediately upon my first (and many subsequent) listenings. Obviously this is just my opinion, but it feels like the processing state of the decision made in Manhattan. So haunting and gorgeous…both melodically and lyrically.

I hope this means a new album soon. She is everything to me (in the least creepy way possible lol)

She continues to make music that speaks to the soul. Her voice is so mature but still has an innocence in it, and always draws you in. When this single gets released I will be putting it on an endless loop!

I just found this! Did she give any background to this song? She’s been with Joe for so long and they seem like such a perfect match I didn’t think she still had this heartbreak in her anymore. Haha. It’s a beautiful song.
