Sany sy35u mini excavator review and pushing over trees.

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

#sanysy35u #sanyminiexcavator #sanyexcavatorreview
A quick review of my Sany sy35u excavator. I bought for work on our new property and home build. This unit was a lot less than a comparable machine from Cat, Kubota or Deere.

I bought one. I now have 117hrs on it and have had no issues. I moved 130 dump trailers of dirt from my land and other things. The machine has a Yanmar engine as many of them do. $11,000 cheaper than a Yanmar. We will see how it does. Years ago I bought a Kioti after my 2nd Kubota, they were new to the market and it is just as good as the Kubotas that I have owned. It was $16K less than the Kubota. Kubota is a good machine but not that much better.

Any more videos or comments. Could you tell me your feedback on the thumb. I feel like it lets go too easy and drops stuff. It does not have the staying power to grab something. I saw you try to grab the tree and it slid out. The thumb gives way to the bucket if you don't maintain pressure with the thumb.

I have about 600 hours on the machine now. I have had no issues with it. When this video was taken I had just started to learn how to use it. The thumb works great I will try to make a video with me lifting some good sized logs with it. I have used this to build a few bike tracks and clear a few acres of land as well as all the digging to build my house only complaint I have is it track slow.

Stupid question, what is the start up procedure for this machine? I didn't get a owner's manual with mine. When I turn the key on if I wait more than like 2 seconds before I crank it over it the key locks and won't turn. I can't even wait long enough for the glow plug light to go out. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or it's just stupid. Thanks

Paul Baur Ok thanks for the info. So far I have called and emailed them several times over the last 6 weeks but I haven’t even been able to get a salesman to return my call. It is a 4 hour drive for me to get there so I want to discuss things before I would make that trip only to find out they don’t have what I want in stock. It looks like the next nearest dealer is in southern Idaho which is 12 hours away. Anyway I appreciate the reply. It looks like it is working well for you. It also sounds like you got a decent deal on it which is cool. Take care.

Ive been an excavating contractor for 32 years...have geared back to a one man show...I am looking at a Sany 75. My dealer buddy says they work on Sany...but has concern over limited number of pressure relife valves in Sany excavators. The 35y has only 1 relief valve instead of one for each function. How ever...operator care is still the most important. I always run my stuff at about 1/2 throttle...period. Extreme smoothness and fluid motions will get a lot of work done over full throttle bangingmachine around. Chinese equipment is coming in to USA. I believe if you do good maintainance, dont abuse machine, constantly check fluid levels...learn to operate smoothly...most chinese machines will do fine. I run Takeuchi, need another 16,000 lb unit...a used Takeuchi 260 (12,000 lb) is $50,000 average. A 900 hr Sany 75 (16,000 lb) averages 35,000 or less.

All you guys talk about these machines when there brand new, lets see your RESALE,PARTS NETWORKING,DEALER SUPPORT AND 5000hrs of run time on that machine.Yes,the YANMAR can take all you can throw at it,what about lies underneath that skin?Bearing quality, weld structure, structural integrity,Cylinders and rod packings, metalurgy,Chinese are known, and Ive rewelded many products due to poor fit and finish and inferior metallurgy and weld structure. In the end,YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR,BUY CHEAP BUY TWICE.I hope im wrong, best of luck with it.My question is"How much is this machine worth on a trade in,with hrs on it?"Will your dealer even be around in 2 years time?I know I paid way more for my Kubota and my track loader,BUT I also know what I paid for,You buy name brand, you know the next guy will want it,and he'll pay a fair price. No disrespect intended, this machine works good for you, great.Best of luck.

Im at 700 hours with no issues I bought it to help with my home build and to work around the house. This machine will never see 5000 hours as I use it as a home owner not a business. As for price it was far less then Kubota or Cat so understandably resale will be less I bought it from the local Kubota dealer that has been around for years. With the current hours I have 0 complaints with the machine and bought it for about the same price as the quotes for clearing and all the dirt work to build my home and now I still have a tool to use after I have even made a little money here and there doing jobs for Friends and neighbors. For me this was the right choice for a company using it 8-10 hours everyday maybe I would have spent the extra money on a Kubota or Cat.

I watched it crazy pumping out an excavator every 10 min looks like they have a good part of the market over there. I don't have any complaints with this machine. Would have bought a Cat or Deere but the prices are so far off it was buy the Sany and have no payments or buy the Cat or Deere and owe almost 30k. I think if more people get passed the stigma of buying a Chinese machine we will see more and more Sanys around.
