Not only is he an amazing guitarist, but his band is so talented! That's what makes him a great artist. He's not only talented but he gathered a group of talented people to support him.

I'll just add that part of their almost immediate popularity and sort of cult following of fans was their music was so different from most rock and roll (including the Woodstock phenomenon) and it's why the Southern Rock wave was able to pretty much able to take over from the British invasion so easily with it's whole like a subsection of Southern Texas rockin blues bands like ZZTOP, the Winter brothers, and of course Stevie Ray Vaughn (SRV) and others 😊😅😮😂❤😊
Carlos' guitar is crying, praying and shouting...☆ It sounds calm, melancholic and powerful. All of Santana's members are superb! I favor this song forever...with love from Japan.♡
One morning in the San Francisco Bay Area, I was dropping my son off at elementary school and this version of Black Magic Woman came on the radio. I didn't want to get out of the car, but I had to so my son wouldn't be late. As I walked down the street, several other vehicles were parked with their windows open, all playing this song, as parents walked their kids to school. Such a mesmerizing performance! Thanks for posting.

I've listened to this song for almost 40 years now, still love it and maybe it's the only one that can live a life time or even more

What was great yesterday will be great forever. Wether it's classical music the image of a beautiful woman or this. Though he took a bit of poetic license with this. In martial arts we call it an extension. 🐯
